The Sillage is really very good but the durability is with me the absolute madness. It may be due to the synthetics but I perceive it felt infinitely long. In the morning I sprayed it on my hair and clothes and notice it clearly throughout the day, in the evening, while going to bed and in the morning still after getting up. On the clothing of the day before still so clearly that one would hardly have to put on again. Y' reminds me more, yes, even much more, of some 1990's releases, like the appley-woody Boss Bottled, than of that new-fashion blue stuff :) ¶ Versace Eros was released in 2012, and it was developed by Aurelien Guichard. Versace Eros is a party monster. The loud scent profile of Eros is widely admired and loved. And the sensual touch in this cologne is so perfect and clean. With both light and dark fougère facets , Y Eau de Parfum blends sophistication, sensuality and strength, echoing the multifaceted personality of the YSL man. I know that tastes are different and everyone can judge as they like. This scent is nothing extraordinary but certainly not a bad scent.

As for wearability, it’s all seasons and occasions, like a true blue fragrance. There isn’t even an event or season that it struggles in! YSL Y EDP is highly complimented and likable but not seductive. It doesn’t have the sweet and dense aroma that true seductivecolognes have. Our Final Verdict As for the scent, it’s different than most blue fragrances because it doesn’t have ambroxan, yet still, the DNA is nothing ground-breaking. In the first few hours, it pushes out 5 – 6 feet before receding. The rest of the wear creates a large ambiance around you. For the authentic and bold, YSL Beauty creates Y: the fragrance for those who dare to ask themselves ‘why not’. Woody and aromatic , the original Eau de Parfum opens with fresh notes of bergamot and ginger enhanced by juicy green apple for powerful freshness.

On top of the outstanding smell is YSL Y EDP’s fantastic performance. On the skin, it lasts 8 – 10 hours with above-average and consistent projection. But now ...after all the stupid Chanels, also Dylan-Blues and Erosse :-) really -absolut- left me cold ...the grip to YSl's 'Y' ...and also to the perfume, by the way.
