About this deal

The craft and snack ideas in this section were directly related to the special occasions and there was no random section on organising your spice drawer in the middle. You will find yourself smiling away at life, not just hers but your own too, the book makes you feel like you are getting it right. I believe it would have been more beneficial to break the sections/chapters up like so, Chapter 1 Daily Routine, Chapter 2.

Book, Tap to Tidy Stacey Solomon to Release New Cleaning Book, Tap to Tidy

Whenever she recommends something it is so very clear that it’s because she loves it and wants to share with the world. Stacey, who is good friends with the queen of clean, Mrs Hinch, spent much of lockdown last year transforming old household objects into practical garden accessories, impressing her followers with budget-friendly tips. I hope this is just the first of many books to come with Stacey's positive outlook on life and ability to bring organisation to chaos without leading an unrealistic family life. Each chapter is dedicated to a room in the house and shows readers how she transformed each room herself.I started out enjoying this book, mainly because it is refreshing for a book like this to embrace cleaning, tidying and organising as something to be enjoyed - rather than most books on the topic which imply no one could possibly like it and just help us get it done as quickly as possible. Her strategies include where to start to tame the chaos, which habits deserve your focus and will make the most impact, and practical tips you can implement immediately to declutter a huge amount of stuff with minimal drama. But the advice is given in a unique voice with some good tips and cute drawings to demonstrate the ideas visually. The first book was full of crafting ideas, tidying tips and recipes, allowing you to recreate the magic in your home. This is such a shame because as I previously stated, I am a massive fan of Stacey and I was looking forward to this book for such a long time.

I also love the advice of taking everything out and laying it out on the floor to properly see what it is you have. I felt as though there was a portray of a perfect family life and it was a little rammed down my throat. As a full time working parent, it got me thinking about how many people missed this point and have barrated themselves for not feeling good enough, when they are going their best and literally had so little time to do these special things, based on this ideology. She then uses a handheld steamer “if worst comes to worst” and she has to iron something for the children or herself. That is probably why she is one of the UKs most loved people because she's down to earth and real which are not common qualities in the age of a filter sadly. million followers, the Sort Your Life Out presenter and Loose Women panellist wrote: "I definitely don't tell myself often enough how proud I am of all the love and hard work I've put into Pickle Cottage.
