About this deal

I came across this in the late eighties but my copies of the individual books - one of them signed - got left behind about 10 house-moves ago. I suspect that this is because 23rd Parallel Games still haven't sold out of the original print run (I hope that's not the case - I really feel for James Brunton if that's true). The game has been available for many years - it was originally a RuneQuest title and bore the RQ imprint - and in light of news that Luther Arkwright had been optioned in '21 for a TV series, as well as the next Luther Arkwright graphic novel set to be issued on 14 July 2022, this sourcebook - and its adventure supplement Parallel Lines - deserve to be revisited.

Arkwright made his first appearance in the mid-1970s in "The Papist Affair", a short strip for Brainstorm Comix where Arkwright teamed up with a group of cigar-chewing biker nuns to recover the sacred relics of "St.It was going to be produced by Andrew Prowse and Sophie Patrick, but according to Talbot, the rights for the project lapsed in June 2010. In 1992 The Adventures of Luther Arkwright was made into a role-playing game ( RPG) by 23rd Parallel Games.

This particular alternate history and all its dark uncertainties and shadowy parallels with 80s Britain is genuinely compelling, it's a pity we don't spend more of the book in it really. The role-playing game based on it originally came out in 1992, published by an acquaintance of Talbot's. To develop this point further, quite quickly into this volume I had a sense of how Talbot was going to move things to a conclusion. Luther Arkwright es un agente de zero-zero, la realidad más estable que lucha por evitar que los Disruptores acaben con todas las realidades. became the standard for technical documents and academic papers, since it was possible to produce complex mathematical figures and equations effectively and accurately.Following from the last blog post, which looked at the newest Mythras setting, Destined, we're going to take a look at another Mythras setting, Luther Arkwright: Roleplaying Across The Parallels. This new artwork was also used in the French edition by Kymera Comics and was the basis for the 2006 webcomic release in the official fan page. Black-and-white illustrations and small, dense type make it visually a long slog, and the sex and violence never felt more than gratuitous, with the success of the god-like hero never in doubt. Interesting enough, and as a sign of how much people loved Bryan’s universe, a brand new Arkwright RPG is currently in production by Hogshead Games.
