I didn’t know what to expect from this book going in, it was quite a longer book than I would usually read (I usually smash through the 3-400 page books) not going to lie, it was the first book I decided to truly go in blind with. I will say it felt a bit overly long, it is well over 800 pages long, but I did enjoy it so so much.Especially in the middle of the book, there were a lot of odd phrases that made me wonder if this was some kind of translation? i said i liked her heroine(s)—and i did—but her muddling through an egregious amount of information while adding her back and forth on every single piece of it kept me skimming. You were so scared you ran away in the rain, tripped on a rock and got hurt trying to get away from him?

The dale is a SINC due to its species rich chalk grassland and because of the quarry which is noted for bee orchids and butterflies.
