About this deal

So far, this is the smallest and lightest portable air pump available on the market, even when compared to ANY other model (including all of the company’s other pump models too), making it a great choice to go with for any inflation and/or deflation tasks.

The Tiny Pump X is currently available in three (x3) different color models: White, Blue, and Gray (these only change the pump’s top-side color). Disclaimer: Flextail sent this product to us for free for a review. That does not affect our opinion about the product. In this article, we list both what we like and dislike. Read more about this here. What is the Flextail Tiny Pump 2x?It’s a portable rechargeable electric air pump that’s not much bigger than an egg. It weighs hardly anything and it actually works. It’s not that loud compared to other electric air pumps, but because of the small size, the amount of sound it produces is surprising. Do all the nozzles fit the inflation and deflation ports? A vertical thin metal pole won’t be enough for the magnet to hold on to. But for hanging the light, most metal surfaces I tried worked great.

POWERFUL IN/DEFLATION: Powerful 3.5 kPa air pressure and fast 180L/min wind speed make Flextailgear tiny air pump X achieve fast inflation & deflation. Able to inflate 4-5 swim rings, 6-8 single camping air mattresses. Starting with the pump’s actual size, the Tiny Pump X is, as mentioned before, an ultra-compact air pump, measuring just 1.69 inches wide (diameter) by 2.08 inches tall (43 x 43 x 43 mm). Furthermore, this air pump is also extremely lightweight (even lighter than the company’s Max Pump 2 model), as this smaller model weights just a measly 2.8 oz. FLEXTAILGEAR Tiny Pump X Now with better electronics, batteries, etc, I'm wondering if it's worth looking at the micro battery-powered pumps? They're pretty light (not ultralight, lol) and if they can avoid all the above issues plus save camp setup/tear down time, it might be worth it. When comparing the Tiny Pump to the Tiny Pump X, the X model is way more worth it. The light is really nice to have, and it’s a great multi function for camping. The sound of the motor running and the fan spinning inside the Tiny Pump 2X is louder than you might think.

Lastly, the FLEXTAILGEAR Tiny Pump X also features an anti-splashing design that allows the unit to avoid almost any damage caused by splashing water (not submersible), which ultimately gives you some extra piece of mind when taking it with you outdoors on a rainy day or even while having it by the pool-side to inflate some pool toys while your children are playing in the water. SPECS

The Tiny Pump X is exactly the same as the Tiny Pump in features and overall design. The only difference is Flextail added a camping light to the bottom. I didn’t know they could make electric pumps this small. It’s going to be a great addition to my camping gear.Even though the flow rate is the same, the 2X is going to be a little faster and better at inflation and deflation. Manual pumps are a lot of work to use, and they take a long time. Traditional battery powered inflators work well, but they’re big and heavy. That includes things like soccer balls, basketballs, and bike tires. Does the light stay red while charging? It is water resistant but not waterproof. So it’s ok to use in the rain, but don’t let it sit in water. Before receiving the Flextail Tiny Pump 2X, I used some small hand pumps to inflate our air beds, but now it’s so much faster and easier.

While a regular vacuum is more powerful than the Flextail Tiny Pump, the portable aspect is more important for this feature. Other than the pump’s included 25.5 mm Vacuum Nozzle, all other four (x4) nozzle accessories are meant to be used with its Self-Contained Safety Net Inflation Port. Air mattresses, inflatable pillows, floaties, couches, and even some tents require an air pump to be filled. The stronger motor means it doesn’t have to work as hard as the other versions. Which could lead to it lasting longer. The lantern produces a white light of 4500K and can be set to three different levels, 400 lumens, 160 lumens and 40 lumens. Regarding the Tiny Pump X’s actual inflation and deflation specs, this compact battery-powered air pump can offer its users an inflation pressure of around 3.5KPA (kilopascal – atmospheric pressure unit) – meaning 3.500PA (Pascals) of static pressure – and around 180L of air flow p/ minute. Lastly, next to the pump’s USB-C Charging Port there’s also a LED Charging Indicator, which basically informs users with the color Red when the pump is between 0~99% charge and a bright Green color as soon as the pump’s battery reaches 100% charge.
