Craig David is a critically acclaimed British singer-songwriter. Aged 18, he burst onto the scene with the garage classic 'Rewind' and, following the phenomenal success of his debut album Born To Do It, he has continued to top the charts over the past 22 years, amassing 17 million album sales and over 1 billion streams, to date. Craig then signed another new record with Universal Motown and released sixth album 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'. It featured covers of classics from Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and Al Green. Craig told us in an interview how he was so proud to receive the honour saying: "It was amazing, for me, being able to be there with my mum, in Windsor Castle to see where the Queen resides." TS5 started out as the most exclusive pre-party hosted by Craig at his penthouse home in Miami. Craig’s set combines massive old skool anthems from R&B to Swing beat, to Garage and Bashment, whilst merging current chart-topping House hits. In 2015, Craig appeared on The X Factor and performed his breakthrough single 'Re-Rewind' with Reggie 'n' Bollie. Music is definitely in Craig David's blood. As a child, he was surrounded by music. His father George even played bass in a reggae band.

Through his unique blend of R&B, garage, dance and pop, Craig has delighted his fans with live performances on stages across the world, while also becoming one of the biggest DJs on the dance scene with his TS5 sets, and his renowned pool parties in Ibiza. He has received 14 Brit Award nominations, two Grammy nominations, four MOBO awards, three Ivor Novellos honouring his songwriting and, most recently, an MBE for his services to music. Craig switched up his look on his fourth album 'Trust Me'. He successfully sought permission from David Bowie to sample his 1983 Number 1 single 'Let's Dance'. The single was a top ten hit but his fourth record didn't perform as well as his first three.

As well as 14 BRIT Award nominations and two Grammy Award nominations, Craig has also won three Ivor Novello Awards, all in 2001: Best Contemporary Song for '7 Days', Best Dance Single for 'Woman Trouble' with Robbie Craig and Artful Dodger and Songwriter of the Year. He used to have house parties in his apartment, and later he would name his DJ set after his apartment. His success at his house parties spurred him on to DJ. Before the global success of his solo career, Craig David started out as a DJ working the UK club circuit; he then went on to sell over 15 million albums as an artist, enjoying 14 Top 10 hits and achieving multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries.
