Although the illustrations keep to a very simple color palette the details help the reader to be familiar with the character and his environs. I seldom read a book in one sitting, but Dandelion Clocks was so lovely and so brilliant I didn't want to do anything else until I had savored every word.That being said, the “poems” that were longer than 1-5 lines were much better than the shorter ones. After, he went and saw Geralt and the two spent time discussing Dandelion's education, as well as the lack of work for the witcher.
