The E-series is one of the most competitively-priced cordless ranges on the market. By selling one, interchangeable power source and a collection of quality tools with brilliant basics, this is the perfect set of household essentials for novice and seasoned DIYers alike. The cordless jigsaw is perfect for straight or curved cutting. It’s a very versatile saw. It also has a dual extraction outlet, which means it will blow away loose debris as you are sawing. The dust extraction system and collection box prevents clouds of dust obstructing your view and makes the clean-up operation a lot less arduous. Simply disconnect the collection box and dispose of the contents after every use.

The VonHaus drill driver bundle is part of the E-series range, which all make use of the same battery and charger, so one battery can be used with eight different tools. These tools include an impact driver, torch, jigsaw, multitool, mini-circular saw, reciprocating saw, sander and of course, the drill driver. The blade change is simple and doesn’t require a tool to change the blade. The jigsaw comes with a wood cutting blade and a hex wench. It’s compatible with all standard t-shank jigsaw blades. Reciprocating saws don’t typically come with a lot of extra features and the Von Haus is no different. There’s an adjustable pivot shoe to help stabilise the saw and reduce vibration. In its default position it felt secure and did its job well. But move it out – there’s six notches on the shoe, so six settings – to the furthest setting and it's not as sturdy as we hoped. It still worked but not quite as well. The cordless and compact oscillating tool is very versatile. It will let you cut, carve and sand on lots of DIY tasks. It is also a tool-less blade change, that is very handy and convenient.The saw comes with two 115mm blades and it has 43mm cutting depth at 90 degrees and 28mm at a 45 degree angle. It also has a soft grip handle for comfortable use, a dust pipe to collect the dust and it also comes with an edge guide and hex key.

Initial use of the blade was good, it zipped through all the materials we tested it on, even the metal. However, this took a little longer to get going but once through the initial cutting stage it went through the metal pipe easily.STATUS INDICATOR – features a charge level indicator so you can be aware of how much charge you have left.
