She’s basically one of us if we ever got written in a book. She’s a romance reader, loves iced coffee and flowers, vegetarian and her style is by far the best I’ve read from a fictional character! She also had such a great personality. The way she’s so caring and just wants to take care of the people she loves. She has the biggest heart I swear! She really is so perfectly written it’s insane. Honestly this was probably the best fake dating sports romance I've read 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm normally not a big fan of fake dating/my best friends sibling books only because they're really predictable and the third act break up is always around everyone finding out the truth bla bla bla BUT none of that happened in this book the sibling gave them their blessing early on and no one cared that it started out fake. I loved that so much. This book was really deep in some parts, both main characters had a lot of issues due to people hurting them and tainting their view of the world. Ryan more so and I honestly couldn't get enough of them tearing down each others walls.... perfection.

Ryan pampered Indy in the greatest way imaginable by teaching her the importance of putting herself first and demonstrating his belief in her. Indy knows Ryan for the man he is, not just the NBA star about whom so many people are curious.I just love how Liz Tomforde writes and creates her characters, story and plot!! She just knows how to create the perfect love story while also including different important topics which need to represented and talked about!!

I feel the need to tell that Rio is the best man out there and he needs his own story ASAP cause that man deserves everything. I cannot remember loving a side character as much as I do with him. The man is hilarious and just overall a lovable goofball. #weneedsomeonelikerioinourlives 😆❤️ The Right Move is the second book in the “Windy City” series and also the most recent installment in the series. This was also just released this year. I will be honest I saw this book everywhere on booktube and bookstagram. And I was so intrigued and the moment that I read “Mile High” I knew why this book was being so raved about. Now The Right Move is about the brother of the heroine in the first book. There was actually a bit of a teaser between Ryan and Indy in the first book, so we got to see their first meeting and it wasn’t the most elegant of meetings but it really sets the stage for this story. I was so curious about Ryan’s book, everyone claims its better than book one, and I have to say I really enjoy these books equally, they are different from each other, so its hard to say if one is better than the other, but I can guarantee that The Right Move will have you falling mad for basketball romance and have you aching for more. To be honest, this is my FIRST basketball romance. This is not a common sport used in sports romances and its a shame because it has so much potential, and you can bet after reading this one I am on the hunt for all the best basketball romances.Ryan Shay has learned the hard way that being a basketball superstar comes with a lot of sacrifices. idk what liz tomforde was on when she wrote this BUT I NEED HER TO KEEP IT UP I did not expect to love this so much and now it's one of my all-time favorites :') if you catch me rereading soon take that as a sign to read it too <3 but this was such a good read, i adored it so much. gimme Rio’s book immediately, im kinda bummed he’s not next :( my lil himbo child ily, come home to me. Ryan and Indy have my whole heart. I adored them and their romance, which is pure sunshine and so feel-good! I love to see a closed-off man slowly melt for his heroine. Both Indy and Ryan are well-written characters you can’t help but root for. I had so much fun with their roomies/fake dating romance. The way Ryan would get all protective and possessive over Indy? *chef’s kiss* And that scene where he was ready to fight Michael, not knowing Indy was going to a craft store and not another man… iconic 😂 Show stopping, stunning, breathtaking, astounding, magnificent, perfect, spectacular, glorious, majestic, wonderful. I may or may not be completely obsessed with this series. The first book was really good but nothing compares to this one. It’s easily my favorite because it was written for the hopeless romantic girlies

It didn’t get better. I felt so detached from the story that I found myself skipping even the smut. I could rant about everything that got on my nerves but I think the main problem was that I wasn’t vibing with the writing, so the moment it stopped being fun, I wasn’t able to care again.
