April 17, 2018 – T-Mobile US: The Oreo update for T-Mobile variants of the LG V30 has been delayed. The carrier apparently opted to do so after LG “made a booboo”. The update is now expected to be released in about two weeks. June 7, 2018 – Verizon US: Verizon pulled the Oreo update for some reason and covered it up as if it never happened. There’s no word if the carrier will reverse course and ship Oreo to the Galaxy S7 devices in the future or if the update is doomed.The Android 8.0 support for Huawei P9 shall arrive, but it won’t be that soon. Huawei has a bunch of devices under its Oreo roadmap it would prefer to roll out the 8.0 OTA for, like the Mate 9, P10 and P10 Plus, Honor 9, etc.
