To celebrate May being National Walking Month, a campaign to promote the benefits of walking, this guide shares information about the best walks for older people in the UK. From Miller’s Dale, also a great start point as this is an old train station complete with the train platforms. Then it’s a short walk down the Monsal Trail before heading down to the River Wye and before long you’ll reach the famous Chee Dale Stepping stones. There are access routes for bikers, horse riders and walkers. In total the walk is just over four miles and it is best for enjoying over a half-day.
