About this deal

The teams are now joined by their parents whom in this round were dressed up like one of the Pictureka characters. In round two, the parents played separately. Each of then had 60 seconds to run through the "Pictureka Maze" and find up to six characters announced by Cory. The characters must be placed into the team's colored bin to count. For each correct character they find, they score 20 fish points for a possible grand total of 120 fish points. Did you know? Every box of Pictureka contains the caption: licensed by Arne Lauwers Pictureka Card Game The game was designed in 2006 by Belgian game designer Arne Lauwers, who has been designing games since 2002. His company, Lauwers Games, licensed Pictureka! to Hasbro, which is now publishing this wildly popular game. There are a few game modes in Pictureka!, but all follow the basic rules. Blue cards have one of the pictures on them and are all play, the first person to find the picture in the grid, point it out and shout Pictureka! wins and takes the card. Green cards are solo play and players first roll dice to determine how many of the object described on one of the three sections on the card they have to find before the sand on the timer runs out, fingers crossed you don’t roll a six. If the current letter is A the player could point to the red card and say “ankle”. The player would then take the red card to indicate that they won one of the rounds.

BOARD GAME FOR 6 YEAR OLDS AND UP: Kids 6 years and older can have a blast with this frantic frenzy to find the picture and be the first one to shout "Pictureka" Whichever player manages to complete the assigned ‘mission’ first keeps that card, and the game continues to the left. Take a green card. Read out the words on the layer you chose, then roll the die. That's how many of those things you have to find. One of the two current missions is “something stinky”. The boxer looks stinky so the player could play this card. Each choose any tile and put it in front of you. If there are 4 players or fewer, help yourself to 2 tiles each. Once you complete the agreed-upon number of rounds, the winner is the player who has the most amount of cards at the end.

This is now all done by Hasbro. The game is available in many countries on many continents and has won many awards. The brand is very much alive and you can expect more to come. Awards Eyeballs & Oddballs - In relay fashion, the teams have to find three objects around a giant ball tank one at a time before climbing into the tank and depositing it into their team's slot. Each match is worth 40 fish points, and the team who finds all of their objects plus grabs the blue ball with a fish on it and shouts the show's title earns the 25 fish point bonus. The maximum grand total for either team is 145 fish points. Playing board games since I was 8, I created a passion for different styles such as Strategy, Cards, Family and Role Playing Games. Being a card game there isn’t a whole to the components. The game just includes cards. Like the other Pictureka games though I have to give credit to the artwork. The card game keeps the quirky artwork from the other games. If you liked the artwork in the other Picturekas you should like the artwork in the card game as well. Final VerdictThe most important part of Pictureka is the missions that are on each card. Players complete these to progress the game. Based on the board game of the same name by Hasbro. Pictureka was invented by Belgian game inventor Arne Lauwers Link [ ] Find objects on the tiles to win cards. Win the most cards or be the first to collect six cards to win the game Sometimes we just want to chill and play something, but there’s no one around to join us. For these moments, you can play free board games online and I get you covered with some of the most popular options (and also my favourites). Monopoly[line]

If you don’t like the original Pictureka! or don’t generally like family games, you won’t like the Pictureka! Card Game. If you really like the original Pictureka! you may get some enjoyment out of the card game. The game is really cheap online so you don’t have to risk much to try the game out. The red cards are "Outbid." Your goal is to find as many objects as possible that fit in a certain category. One specific thing that players can do is when the red cards are in play. In this case, only give one tile to each player if there are five or more playing. Before flipping a card over, each player bets on how many images they can find on the board that fit into the card's category. Shuffle the picture cards and deal three cards to each player. Shuffle the mission cards and deal one to each player. Players hold their cards in their hand but don’t let the other players know what they have. The oldest player gets to start. The first player takes the top two cards from the picture card draw pile.Arrange the 9 Game Tiles into a grid that is 3×3. Once done, sort the cards into the three color groups and ensure that you shuffle these. Have the chosen player to begin the game start by rolling the dice and drawing a card that corresponds to the color on the dice. Pictureka! is simple to learn and so much fun to play. It is great for all ages and, in fact, playing with a wider variety of people adds something to the game and it will become a firm family favourite. As it is not a strategy game with lots to learn and understand adults have no real advantage over children. In fact, it often appears that the younger the player the better the eyesight and faster the reactions and so this often results in the older players becoming more competitive as they start to lose to the younger ones!
