About this deal

The Model E indoor rowing machine comes from a company called Concept2. They are one of the leading manufacturers of quality rowers and other gym equipment. You can rest assured that the Model E is not going to fall apart within a few weeks of use. For most Crossfitter's that are purchasing equipment at home they will usually choose one or more of the following just like they have in their local box:

You can mix both machines with fantastic results - just don’t try to use them for the same job, otherwise they’ll effectively cancel each other out. There are several great ski machines that you could consider getting for your home gym. However, the Concept2 SkiErg offers a variety of advantages for your workout. As much as I enjoyed using the Concept 2 SkiErg during my CrossFit days, I don’t recommend it for everyone. The Concept2 SkiErg makes the exhilarating, toughest total body sports – Nordic Skiing – available to everyone. Whether you're an elite skier looking to enhance your poling strength, someone wanting an effective low impact workout to complement your rowing, or are just looking for an incredible total body workout, the SkiErg is a fantastic choice to help you build strength, skill and overall fitness. Both machines offer an intense workout. However it is the rower that will give you a full body workout from head to toe.

Another idea would be to have different handle options. The handles are already form-fitting and super comfortable, but having different handle options can add another element to the workout. Given that they’re two different machines that operate in different ways, it perhaps doesn’t seem fair to compare the SkiErg versus the Concept 2 rower-like-for-like in terms of size, but that doesn’t mean that their dimensions don’t matter. The SkiErg is incredibly space efficient However Concept 2 have another cardio machine that has slowly gained both fans and haters. That machine is the SkiErg. Besides the flywheel, the Model E has several distinct features that help set it apart from the competition. It is easy to use and store and comes preloaded with a wide variety of workout options along with a PM5 Performance Monitor. Assembling and Setting up the Model E RowerThe last idea would be to make the Concept 2 SkiErg have different color ways. This idea is shooting for the stars, but the more options a person can have, the better. Concept 2 Rower vs. Concept 2 SkiErg Nordic skiing develops both strength and endurance. The exercise focuses on lower body as well as the arms and core. While pulling the SkiErg, a person can focus on a double, or alternating pull method. The SkiErg makes the sport of Nordic skiing available to everyone. Long recognized as delivering one of the toughest workouts around, Nordic skiing develops both strength and endurance and exercises the legs as well as the arms and core. The SkiErg can be used for both double pole and classic alternating arm technique. Any exercise, including the Concept 2 ski erg, can be good for weight loss if you do it consistently and with enough intensity. The ski erg can burn close to 250 calories in 30 minutes. However, the key to weight loss is diet. If you use the Concept 2 ski erg but are not in a calorie deficit, you will not lose weight. Is the Concept 2 Ski Erg Worth It? This damper is the same damper you will find on both of the Model D and Model E rowers. The damper consists of a lever on the side of the flywheel housing, or fan cage, that controls how much air flows into the cage. The fan cages on the SkiErgs are numbered so you can set the damper lever to a particular number from 1–10, indicating how much air is drawn into the cage on each pull.
