If you want the best from Chrome line up get Chrome Aqua for super fresh tingling citrus burst (sporty vibes) or Extreme for sweet and comforting yet fresh with some depth and earthiness (compliment magnet). Both are great value and worth every penny even at higher price. It starts relatively synthetic with citrus from the green mandarin, which i related to the smell to an unripened mandarin, and slowly mellows out of that sharp synthetic associated with the typical generic freshie. It transitioned from zingy aromatic into this smooth and slightly resinous marine scent which smells quite sophisticated. The juniper retains its sweetness while the cashmere really softens out the edges and the amber gives it a resinous quality while maintaining its sea notes from the top to the drydown. Comes now the Eau de Parfum (without the odd presentation -- Pure/Aqua/Extreme just weirdly had those words written toward the top of the bottle face). I'm liking it Chrome EdP. It definitely PROJECTS well. First of all it is not harsh with mentioned citruses, it does not give shower gel vibe. It is mild and semi-sweet scent with some delicate "peppery" feeling during first 30 minutes. Regarding notes pyramid I don't know from where does this "peppery" impression come from but it's pleasant. 👍🏼

This will easily be one of my more frequent reaches. It is amazing. There is a true transition with the top-middle-bass notes, and each one is fantastic. Opening: The opening is a strong synthetic mandarin off the first 10 minutes or so. After that it sweetens up and starts to become a mix of a realistic, bright, mandarin mixed with a sweet and juicy juniper accord right under that. The cashmeran and amber notes are not really felt in the opening. After about 30 minutes it continues to project a juicy mandarin with the cashmeran and salty ocean note resembling AQD Profondo. Opening is 8/10 for the price, mass appealing, unique, and compliment monster after the synthetic quality fades away. Sillage is also pretty "extreme" for the first 30 minutes to an hour. Currently in the gym scent line up only because the scent profile is too familiar… not a bad thing. Although similar, it does it well with solid performance. Keeping it at 3-5 sprays MAX for gym wear this one I imagineThe note breakdown pretty much explains the whole experience of this fragrance. I don’t detect any particular notes other than the ones written down. Love it. I usually wear Profumo or or Versace pour Homme, Bulgari Aqua marine, and liked Chrome Aqua a bit as it instantly turned into Hugo Boss Man only not as good imo but I like it. I'd say longevity is about 5-6 hrs, maybe more. Sillage is about an arms length. Maybe a little more. However, excellent for the price on the Internet. Longevity: I don't know what kind of skin these people have but Chrome extreme only lasts around 6 hours on my skin before I cannot smell it anymore. This is in moderate weather 68-75 degrees, it may be better in summer. Compared to Rasasi Hawas, I get half of the longevity with Chrome Extreme but a much better scent. 7/10, better than any EDT chrome flanker

A great summer and hot weather dumb reach, although I wouldn't wear this to any formal events. Good for casual and work/office environments. Also good for the gym, though it is a bit strong, so I'd go easy on the sprays for indoor situations. Drydown: After about an hour the projection drops off or I have become anosmic. The scent is a warm soapy, oceanic scent. Very realistic and pleasant; the best part of the scent. The amber is rich and smells addicting, while also meshing perfectly with the soapy warm scent of cashmeran. The ocean note becomes deeper as if night has fallen and the scent overall becomes more mature. This scent does perform differently in different temperatures, in colder temps it is a sweeter fruitier scent, while in hot weather it is a sharp masculine aquatic with a fresh oceanic vibe. 10/10 So, I have been chasing a great Chrome fragrance ever since. It sounds bizarre, but I just feel better having that iconic flacon shape on my sink. I tried the "Pure" (almost powdery), the Aqua (smells like sea glass would, but it just didn't project enough), the Extreme (what a very cold ocean scent would be). I have been chasing that original Chrome magic ever since. I haven't found it. Smell: sweet and fresh. Opens up smelling like melon and cucumber with a bit of orange. Dries down into a fresh aquatic fragrance which has some sharpness similar to YSL Y edp. Has a hint of creaminess but not much, which is a shame. Smells sweet and youthful. A lot of comparisons get made to ADG Profondo, but do not get confused, this is not a clone of that fragrance whatsoever. You'll mostly get the similarities far in the drydown and Profondo has a notable saltiness that Chrome Extreme does not. I'm going to try my best to describe what this reminds me of and trust me this is not a dig at the fragrance.Drydown: It smells very creamy, soapy, slightly aquatic, and tiny bit spicy. It is a very simple scent and the florals and bright opening that are smelled on the tester strip are lost on skin. The mandarin orange sweetness from chrome extreme is also found here. Update: When indoors where it’s cool, the scent gets much spicier, Looks like it shines indoors. I would wear a suit and eat nice dinner wearing this. I have had Chrome on my sink counter since 1997. I was really sad when the original Chrome lost it's whole staying power; it would be GONE in about an hour. Totally GONE.

I only have 2 other Azzaro juices. The OG Chrome & United. Extreme has a similarity to the original in it's freshness and nothing in common with United as that's a more sweet woods and Tonka based elixer. Azzaro managed to take Extreme and put a subtle but, unique twist with the green citrus & marine note on top and the mids yet managed to make the woods & amber work very well and nicely balanced throughout the compositions life. Not groundbreaking and yes, there is a bit of the ambroxan in there but, it's not as prominent or in your face as others. In the end does it smell good? Absolutely. Does it have the ooomph that the name implies? Definitely. Of the three that I own, this is hands down the best of the trio by a large margin.Generally speaking, from now on I've decided to only buy better quality, since I usually use two spray max and a bottle of perfume lasts me a long time. On my list is Chanel Paris-Edimbourg and Armani Vetiver d'hiver. Upon first wear it did really well for me in terms of chemistry between my skin/sweat and the aroma chemicals.
