First impressions here are probably the best I’ve had with a pair of wireless earphones for a while – the sloped case that also charges the earphones pretty enough to keep your previous wedding bands in. With ANC switched on, the bass is fuller and punchier without losing any significant dynamics or control. The Audio-Technica ATH-TWX9 microphone does well enough for a true wireless product, but don’t expect spectacular audio quality. These earbuds will be coming in a Japanese Black colourway with Dark Bronze accents, and you'll also get 12 different earbud sizes and styles to help you get both the perfect look and the perfect fit for any sensibility and ear. It’s remarkable how quickly it went from being this new-fangled piece of tech to becoming a ubiquitous part of many people’s lives.Five ANC modes (“Airplane”, “Train”, “On The Go”, “Office/Study”, and “Home”) plus the “Optimised” mode with local calibration are available via the ambient noise control. Overall, the five ANC modes did not provide outstanding but rather satisfactory attenuation of noise sources. One of the finest-sounding earbuds available that have sadly been let down by mediocre ANC and below-average battery life. We'll have to get our hands on these buds to give you a sense of how they actually perform, but these are stylish, well-equipped buds on paper with a unique sterilisation feature that feels like a win in a post-pandemic world.
