The Sonos Roam functions under the Sonos S2 software, so it’s common sense to connect to similar ones only. If your speakers are not showing a solid white light, then you’d need to plug them in a power outlet. If you don’t have any available WiFi in the vicinity or you just don’t feel like using the Sonos app, you can opt to pair the Roam via Bluetooth. It seem to pair ok and when it updated and went through the register process it seem to fail registration and started flashing the green light. I decided I don't really need a portable speaker to be part of my Sonos system and so went for the Charge 5 since it has double the battery life, faster charge and has the power bank feature.

The Roam has IP67 rating, meaning you could drop it in one meter (three feet) of water for 30 minutes and it would still work just fine.

Yes I know I live in a flat with many wifi, and video of n wifi N is problematic but it seems audio is going well. As long as the Android device has a functional Bluetooth feature, you can stream to your wireless speakers without any problems. The Roam has Automatic Trueplay so it get self-tune for the space it's in, but doesn't make a huge difference, especially if you're listening to it outside.Make sure the device that is connected to your Roam is the only device that’s currently trying to stream Spotify, Pandora, and other streaming services.
