About this deal

Our products are born from the desire to respect the environment and all animals, safeguarding human health and giving them the possibility to enjoy culinary delights. That’s because our house is full of Dairy Free Cheese! I have tried so many different types from the supermarkets & at many Allergy & Free From Showsthat Inow have a few favourite dairy free cheeses. What I find the strangest thing about dairy free cheese is that it can be made from such different things. From soy to tofu, to coconut oil, to what I am going to tell you about today… rice! Mozzarisella is made from germinated whole rice! When I first heard this I thought it was crazy and questioned how it could possibly taste like cheese, or nice at all for that matter! However the very first time I tried Mozzarisella I was genuinely blown away. Our first outing with Mozzarisella was at the Allergy Show in London last year. As big fans of Venice Pizza Bakery’s Gluten & Dairy Free bases we rushed over to their stand to be pleasantly surprised by the free samples. They were giving away pizza samples topped with the dairy free cheese, Mozzarisella! Mark was really pleased with this as no other stand was offering such a service, I think we ended up eating most of it!

Pop in the fridge and let it set for at least one hour. Sprinkle some cocoa powder (ideally through a sieve for extra finesse) on top of your top layer of cream. Serve. Enjoy. The “Food Pyramid of the World Health Organization” recommends first cereals and then vegetables and fruits at the base of our diet, giving animal foods, refined sugars and fats an increasingly marginal role. More and more consumers are proactively avoiding certain ingredients. They are doing so for medical reasons, healthier lifestyle choices, ethical or environmental concerns. Conscious ethical consumers are shifting from their established approach to shopping and want to know more about how and where our food is being produced. Laboratory analysis has shown this plant-based milk contains many important ingredients and nutrients and the amino acid composition and micronutrient content in BioSuRice are similar to that found in human breast milk with 22 amino acids, 8 of which are essential – including gamma-oryzanol or gamma-aminobutyric. Gamma-aminobutyric (GABA) is a neurotransmitter and this amino acid has a very specific function – it is practically a cell activator, giving the starter to the cells to reproduce themselves. What does that mean? The sprout is alive, and it multiplies the amino acids tenfold when it germinates (value 1 in white rice, value 10 in a rice sprout). It’s practically giving the green light to the cells to reproduce because it needs the cells that continue to reproduce themselves to structure its root and stem. When the seed germinates, the fibres triple, other elements quadruple and the gamma-aminobutyric multiplies tenfold. The levels of consumption of animal-derived food products in the most advanced societies have currently reached the threshold of NON-sustainability for both the planet and for human health.

COMPLETELY FREE OF ALLERGENS, EGGS, GLUTEN, LACTOSE, SOY: a refreshing well-balanced whole-grain food;

Since its inception, rice has been one of the most popular foods consumed worldwide. Whole grain rice is a food item recommended by a large number of nutritionists for its numerous virtues and nutritional values. It is higher in nutrition compared to the polished or dehulled ones as it maintains its germ containing important vitamins, which are usually lost during the milling process. Here at MozzaRisella, we use the sprouts, right at the moment they are brimming with vital nutrients, transforming the sprouted brown rice into a delicious and well balanced “rice milk” that we call BioSuRice. The live sprout Fast forward to 2021 and name any dessert, sweet, smoothie, cake, cupcake, we can find its plant based version. With all due respect to my tapioca&coconut pudding, the sophistication of some sweet creations we find online and in the shops has reached incredible levels of quality in both appearance and, most importantly in my opinion, taste. Meat and other animal production place a heavy burden on the environment. In fact, raising animals for food produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all forms of transportation combined. And reducing meat and dairy is the single most effective way to improve our environmental impact on the planet. MozzaRisella is delighted to exhibit at the show and to bring our organic sprouted brown rice products in front of visitors who have key interest in the organic food market. As the largest tradeshow of its kind, this is a great place for us to be to continue building awareness and customer base”, said Franco Vessio, Co-Founder of MozzaRisella.I was reflecting on how much the general concept of veganism has changed over the last ten years. To be precise, how the perception of non vegan people towards the vegan lifestyle has evolved, thanks to an increase of knowledge and awareness. Thanks to extraordinary cultivation methods, inspired by those of Masanobu Fukuoka and Permaculture, we have obtained a rice that is full of vital properties, multiplied by sprouting, from which we create MascaRice, a delicious organic cream. When you taste MascaRice, you will be surprised by its flavour, texture, colour, aroma and versatility. No longer are vegans seen as tofu-loving hippies, usually at the receiving end of dirty looks from the waiter when enquiring about plant-based options in a restaurant or asking for an almond milk in their cappuccino in the morning. MozzaRisella is the first and only plant-based product line from germinated brown rice. The products are not only free from lactose, gluten and soya, but also benefit from the health advantages of using purely sprouted brown rice to maximise nutrition. As the only brand of its kind currently available on the food market, MozzaRisella is turning this superfood into a variety of products such as cheese, ready meals, yoghurt and ice cream alternatives.

Spread more Mascarice cream on top of the biscuit and repeat the operation until you have obtained three layers of cream and two biscuits Once the coffee has cooled down, dip one biscuit in it until soaked, but not soggy and place it on top of your first layer of cream. Spread some Mascarice cream obtained at the bottom of an individual dessert pot (if preparing individual portions) to form your bottom layer of cream. I used a champagne coupe and I think it looked very cool!Whisk until the ingredients have combined and the Mascarice have the consistency of a soft, velvety whipped ice cream

We at MozzaRisella, are revolutionizing the traditional approach to food through innovative ways of using the sprouts of brown rice. All MozzaRisella products are free from lactose, gluten and soy. In addition, they benefit from the health advantages of using purely sprouted brown rice to maximise nutrition. The products are suitable for everyone – celiac, lactose intolerant, allergic to certain ingredients or those simply wanting to improve their health and wellbeing. THIS IS A PRODUCT THAT MAINTAINS THE VALUABLE SPROUT NUTRIENTS INTACT, thanks to its gentle pasteurisation and being sold chilled fresh; Mozzarisella is a fairly soft cheese that comes in a sausage like shape (you know what I mean right?! But it is definitely vegan… no real sausage in sight!!!) It comes in four different varieties which I have to tell you are all amazing. I initially tried the original flavour which is the plainest of all the flavours, yet it is still delicious. It works perfectly on a pizza and has a similar taste to mozzarella. It melted like a dream and I would be pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and it’s evil dairy cousin. By turning the sprout into everyday products, we are making this superfood easily accessible and available to all. Rice cheese alternatives are suitable for everyone – whether celiac, lactose intolerant, allergic to certain ingredients or simply wanting to find a new way to increase health and wellbeing naturally. With food allergies estimated at 70% and continuing to rise globally, the absence of food allergens makes the rice cheese alternative a particularly fitting option for those who choose a plant-based diet. Moreover we are all perfectly aware that compassion and empathy towards other creatures can only improve our spirit and, at the same time, our health too.We are two artisan companies working in the field of organic and alternative food production, based in the provinces of Treviso and Vicenza, between Asolo and the Lessinia Park. Our companies are oriented towards a philosophy that is more and more respectful of the environment and animals, aimed at safeguarding human health while giving the possibility to fully enjoy good tasty food. The smoked flavour has been our favourite ever since we tried it. It is our number one choice out of all dairy free cheese for putting on a pizza. As with all Mozzarisella it can be cut into circles and placed on a pizza where it will melt down into a gooey heaven-like form. I also have found that the this smokey dairy free cheese works brilliantly in a toastie or a panini with some ham. The Smoked Mozzarisella smells amazing too, I basically just think you really need to try it. I cannot recommend this flavour enough for those with or without a dairy intolerance. Living in harmony with what nature thought was best for us” embodies the thought that led us to the realization of projects that are close to our personal motivations and lifestyles.
