It sits so beautifuly on my skin. Warm, quiet, creamy and sexy, but not screaming. Subtle and feminine. I've been wearing this perfume since the late 90's (now I think I might have been a tad too young to wear it but it didn't stop me then) and it is still one of my favorites. Love the bottle, love the smell, and really like the TV ad. Calvin Klein produces eloquence and confidence in a bottle. Since so many of their fragrances are so likable, it might be intimidating to find on that is perfect for you.

Despite being discontinued, I spotted it again in a shop and finally gave in and bought a bottle for myself. What a wise decision! This is perhaps the finest male fragrance of the turn of the millennium. Although nowadays it appears retro, the fragrance as such is beautifully composed: elegant yet casual, youthful yet manly, sweet yet fresh. Hence it is aptly titled, and it comes in a stylish bottle. The name of this perfume is very apt in that it is floral and warm (thanks to the sandalwood and tonka base); but equally cool (Eucalyptus). It is most certainly a floral oriental with a lovely, rounded bouquet of notes that would please most floral lovers- rose, lily, jasmine, lilac, peony. In my non-expert opinion, it is well-blended in that I get an emotional response from the scent rather than being slapped in the face with one note. Reflecting on this fragrance as an adult, I can see why my teenage self enjoyed this, but it is equally a floral which is suited to an older audience who don't want sugary or fruity scents.

It's very fresh, citrusy & a little bit sweet, but I like the fact that the citrus dominates rather than the sweet; at least on me! Someone below mentioned citrus candy and I have to agree that this is a most apt description. Contradiction is a pleasant enough blend of delectable florals and powdery woods. The eucalyptus note in the heart, is possibly what causes some to refer to this fragrance as being metallic. I quite like the uniqueness of the eucalyptus note. I'm an Australian, from the country, so this particular note reminds me of home and the bush, which perhaps in turn makes me a fan. Escape for Men also gives me the same nostalgic feeling. To be honest, I don't know what to think about this scent. At first, it has a terrible herbal-medicinal note, like a cough herbal syrup, then it smells nice and soft with delicate lily of the valley and wood note, just to disappear after a few minutes.The projection is a little soft after about one hour, and longevity is moderate four hours. The right choice for the office, a flexible option that would appeal to most but the very judicious frag fan. The fresh, aromatic, crisp, and balsamic accords make it suitable for spring and fall, maybe on a cold summer night. Still, never in wintertime, all too feeble for chilly days. now it has remained on my skin for 10 minutes and it's getting more intense.it smells like lemon candy mixed with cardamon.I like it better now,though still it's not something I go crazy for.

Summer in a bottle--not the summer of tropical fruits, but of my hot childhood Christmases. A lovely, casual-but-elegant wearable perfume that is that bit different to everyone else. A good choice for the office, or summer wear. A flexible choice that would appeal to most but the very discerning frag fan.
