Waterproof in heavy rain throughout Europe with taped seams - 3000mm hydrostatic head with fully taped seams on the flysheet and groundsheet and a rain hood to prevent leaks. The tent is tunnel type and the space is divided into 5 separate rooms, so this is something rare. The sleeping areas are tents within the external shell and they have used darker materials to reduce glare. Electric cable port with a zipper is also available, and you have Velcro ties to fix the cable along the pol to the lantern hanging point. The groundsheet is fully sewn-in and sealed so you have full protection from this side. The shell material is polyester and it is with a 3000 mm waterproof rating. All seams are sealed. This should be more than enough for any weather situation you can have in 3-season camping. Double skin FIBREseal 3000 groundsheet material with taped seams - tough and durable for years of use.

Clip in groundsheet - covers the living area to protect against wet ground. Easy to put in or remove. This is a great tent and I can't really fault it. The first time we pitched it we put all the bedrooms up and still managed to move around and fit a camping table, plus our four camping chairs in the middle section with ease. However as the boys are only 4 and 6 we decided to just put the two double units up which leaves us able to open the big door at the end if want to with more space than we need inside. All are fiberglass and this material needs some care and careful handling. The bedrooms are perfect for the kids to have a double blow up bed each with us at the other end with a double self-inflating mat. This tent was a joint birthday gift last year for mine and my husbands birthday as they knew we liked camping and we wanted to take our two young children. We looked around and settled on this tent as we wanted one that would last as the boys got bigger. I already mentioned the tents within the shell tent, so they are removable and you can use only one side for the sleeping area if you have fewer users, and have an enormous living room and storage area.
