Me gusta el formato en el que trabajaron la estética del libro, las hojas tienen un acabado viejo y desgastado, las ilustraciones y tipografía son dignas de un auténtico libro de las sombras al estilo de las hechiceras (serie que amo con todo el corazón) con la única diferencia que en este libro se ven másmaleficios y conjuros malignos así como menjurjes diseñados para perjudicar al prójimo (y como no si las protagonistas solo desean robarle la vitalidad a los niños para hacerse másjóvenes, típico cliche, lo sé) God awful, painful rhyming. Some rhymes work beautifully is my reason for the second star in my review but sometimes the rhymes are incredibly dreadful. If you are ever to do anything in rhyme or meter please use a rhyming dictionary and if it doesn't work change the sentences. They don't won't this book to be actually associated with the franchise but if that is so why manufacture it?

The base for the book is a cardboard book box that Mizerella found on clearance. She covered it in a skin of tissue paper with Mod Podge (a versatile and handy craft supply you should keep on hand) and then used red Das brand air dry clay. Any brand of air dry clay that doesn’t shrink will work fine. She sculpted the seams and painted it to closely match the book seen on screen. She sculpted the eyeball and all the metal embellishments from polymer clay, baked everything, and painted it. Polymer clay is your friend. There is also on the family tree another scrawled out face with the name of E. Podbury. This is the name of the fourth Sanderson sisters from 2018 sequel book. Why? Just why? Please let this not be a implication and reflection of the upcoming film.

Why is the cover so bland and nothing at all reminiscent of the actual book in the film? If it wasn't for the Disney logo I would think it was to do with an off brand, fan made, unofficial book to do with the franchise. (That being said a fan made version would of been better) Lo que no me agrada del todo son los rayones y comentarios escritos por las brujas protagonistas de la película HocuPocus (que de por si me caen mal) y la verdad el tener que leer sus diálogos absurdos y sin sentido (completamente innecesarios) me causan un poco de molestia y a mi punto de vista vuelven un poco lento el ritmo de lectura.
