About this deal

This book is hot, and definitely intended for mature audiences (yes, I know you’re probably not 18 and reading this, but I’m forewarning you), and I found myself swooning on multiple occasions because of the hero. W O W. The author has a second book with the sister of the lead guy. She will be learning her life lessons next.

The conflict was not threaded throughout the plot enough. It would be non existent and then, bam, a chapter with one of the exes, and then they would go away and all would be well. The build of the conflict needed to start earlier and have a better build up. Because so much of the book was them in their happy phase, a lot of it read like we were just following along on their daily lives, little to no plot, character or relationship development.

Did I mention I love Shakespeare? Yeah, I know. I’m a walking contradiction. According to the Bard, "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” Somehow, I got all three. A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:

Danny was sweet, caring and intelligent and with all the tragedy she’s had in her past, she’s long due for a reward like Ryan! And man is this boy a reward!! There were some very steamy scenes to prove it! Danny was a strong character without being hateful and I just loved how she handled evil Angeline and dirtbag Reece! Chase was the star of the book for me. He’s funny, filthy, protective and honestly hot af. Everything else just felt very drawn out yet not quite fully flushed out. I still enjoyed it because I really do like character driven novels focused on the couple, and I’m down to try the next book in the series when it comes out. I can see the waitress appoaching from the corner of my eye but I don't look up as I am perilously close to breaking my high score. She stands there for several seconds while the conversation rages on, patiently waiting for a break in the expenditure of brain cells. When no one pauses to even take a breath, she gives a little clearing sound with her throat.

An attacking player steps off the field of play not to be involved in active play. After that, the player re-enters from the goal line. How should this situation be judged in terms of an offside position?

an offence is committed against a player in an offside position who is already playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the offside offence is penalised as it has occurred before the foul challenge Ryan is a wonderful hero; he is so lovable, sweet and kind and very sexy in a cute kind of way. Danny is also a great heroine. She has had many tragedies in her life and before meeting Ryan she was barely getting by, recovering from the loss of both her parents and trying to deal with huge medical debts. Ryan and Danny pretty much fall for each other at first sight. But they have much to overcome; the difference in family status, peer pressure, a vindictive ex-girlfriend, an envious adversary and a spiteful mother…. I loved Ryan. He was the perfect beta hero, almost too mature for his young age. I couldn't believe how sweet he was, given his upbringing. he was just awesome with Danny, supportive and caring and damn he was sexy too!

I loved Ty, adored Dallas, basically fell in love with Shiv and how good of a friend she is (as well as Noelle and Zara, absolute babes), strongly disliked Derek, absolutely despised Luke and Bailey’s old roommates (can’t be bothered to remember their names), wanted to rip Kristen’s hair off of her scalp, and I think that I’ve covered important. Another thing was that I really wanted to see Christmas at the James family house, considering how that was a plot device 2/3’s into the book, but again I haven’t read the bonus chapters yet so it’ll probably be in there (fingers crossed).Danny's hand grip my biceps and she flexes her fingertips inward as we kiss. I can't wait for the day when those fingertips will dig into my ass... Danny... my parents wouldn't like you. I am so ashamed to say that they will judge you because you look different than them and you don't come from money. They won't even bother trying to look at all of the amazing things that I see in you. And I'm so sorry for that because they'll never know what a fantastically amazing woman you are.”
