About this deal

I loved how this psychological thriller kept me asking myself, “What is going on?” and racing towards the end to find out. The twists were surprising and kept me on edge as they were revealed. I felt a shot of adrenaline as each chapter ended and compelled me to keep reading (which I did). Several times I literally sat straight up in bed and asked myself, “Did that just happen?” Who doesn’t love a “gotcha” moment! At the halfway point, the story takes a turn and is then told primarily from the detectives POV as they investigate Norah's brutal murder. They think they have the suspect in their crosshairs when they are thrown a curveball and all bets are off. Everything points to Alice. The weapon, the motive, even the opportunity. Alice had a secret to protect at all costs. But is she really guilty? She reluctantly decides to get help from her husband’s ex-wife, the one he cheated on with her. As the story unravels, Natasha comes to learn her husband’s true motives, and what this will mean for their daughter. If you’ve yet to read the book and are eager to find out what happens, here’s what you need to know about The Ex-Wife book ending. Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Sally Rigby, Amanda Ashby, Boldwood Books and Rachel's Random resources Tours.

Jordan Stephens as Sam, Tasha's friend, with whom she had a sexual relationship in the past. [3] [2]I have to quote this passage here as I really liked it, "....his mouth was set into a permanent smirk, as if he'd set a bomb somewhere and was waiting for it to go off." Another tremendous line is, "Everyone knew that misery loved dog videos" and I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment ! And anyone who gets covered in mud to comfort a strange dog would be AOK in my book as well, pardoning the pun. My oh my, what a bumpy ride Jess Ryder has taken me on with The Ex-Wife. This one is a psychological thriller that keeps a reader guessing all the way until the very end, and then maybe even after you’ve finished the book. Genres covered in this novel include Psychological Suspense, Women's Psychological Thriller, Domestic Thriller, Hard-Boiled Mystery, Crime, Domestic Suspense, Thriller & Mystery Adventures, International Mystery & Crime, Coming Of Age Fiction, Women's Psychological Fiction, Suspense Thriller, Thriller, Suspense, Psychological Thriller, Psychological Fiction, Women's Writers & Fiction, Psychological Literary Fiction, Thriller & Suspense Literary Fiction, Domestic Fiction, Crime, Thriller & Mystery Adventures, British Detective Stories and Mystery amongst others. I was also educated as I hadn't seen the Harold Wilson statue mentioned in the story nor the Antony Gormley sea statues so I googled both after I just finished. The sea figures are especially fascinating. There were a couple of real laugh-out-loud moments in it, despite the seriousness of the tale itself. Now't wrong with a little bit of light relief and it doesn't go overboard in the least on the comedic front, trust me....I like my murderation taken seriously. Natasha is struggling to make it as a barista in the city. Living on a tight budget, she cycles to work daily until one fateful day dramatically changes her life for the better - or so she thought.

Newly married Natasha has the perfect house, a loving husband and a beautiful little girl called Emily. She’d have it all if it wasn’t for Jen, her husband’s ex-wife who just won’t leave them alone … A marriage built on secrets, lies, and pure craziness leads to the ultimate betrayal in The Ex-Wife.First, I want to thank Sally Rigby, Amanda Ashby, Boldwood Books, NetGalley and last but not least Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review. Newly married Natasha has the perfect house, a loving husband and a beautiful little girl called Emily. She’d have it all if it wasn’t for Jen, her husband’s ex-wife who just won’t leave them alone ... The story is set in two different timescales, it’s a double narrative so we get two sides of the story, one from Natasha and one from Jen.
