About this deal

The theme song, entitled " Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?," was written by Chris Bailey, and performed by David Poe. It was produced by Vivek Maddala. The episode's main music was performed by Peter Bateman and Sunna Wehrmeijer. My main problem with this episode though was a scene about halfway through. The gang have split up, with Fred, Velma, and Daphne together as usual. Daphne slips a bit on a puddle of what she correctly identifies as hydraulic fluid on the floor, afterwards Fred says that there are also various other fluids in the aisle like brake and steering fluid. Then he points out that they're in the automotive aisle. And Velma responds with possibly the worst sentence I've ever heard any of the gang say in Guess Who. QUALITY MATERIAL: Our durable heart-shaped keychain is crafted from chrome plated metal with a glossy resin-topped featured design shown on one side. Approximately 1.8" (4.6cm) x 1.4" (3.6cm) in size. A plant monster is haunting a hardware mega store. However, Daphne's friend, Sean Astin, is focused on returning a lost "ring of key" while the gang tries to solve the mystery. But maybe the two things are actually connected! Sean Astin's work as an actor in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is mentioned and there are several allusions: Sean refers to himself and the gang as the Alliance of the Ring of Key, taken from the Fellowship of the Ring.

The green man monster is revealed to be the garden department lady. Somebody had been cutting a lot of keys, but not just any keys, these were brass keys, the kind used in safety deposit boxes at banks. Secondly, the vines were designed around a plumber snake, which explains how they were able to move. The hole Shaggy, Scooby and Sean fell into was actually a tunnel. The old man enters the room, and says that he is a bank detective. He explains that the garden department lady was planning a very large bank heist. Sounds were detected from the vault next door to the store. The plant monster was a cover to scare people away while she tunneled into the bank. Scooby-Doo! and Guess Who?: The Complete Second Season DVD set released by Warner Home Video on June 28, 2022. Garden lady: And I would have gotten away with it, too, if I hadn't left my key at that darn diner, and you meddling kids hadn't found it, along with famous actor, Sean Astin. Hello, Sean. With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Daphne this time. SIZE DETAILS - Made of chrome plated metal, and the heart is approximately 1.8" (4.6cm) x 1.4" (3.6cm) in size.

The hardware store's signs say "More! Walls! Doors! Stuff!", while the key ring attachment says "More Walls, Doors & Stuff," but Daphne reads it as "More Walls, More Doors, More Stuff," and the manager and the bank detective also refer to it as Daphne does. Daphne discovers that the keyring has a loyalty card is from the More Walls! Doors! Stuff! store on it. The Alliance of The Ring head on their way there. The manager and the teenage worker find that the woman has vanished. All that's left is the flower with a demonic face. December 6, 2022: Warner Home Video releases Scooby-Doo! and Guess Who?: The Complete Second Season on DVD.

Sell on Folksy

Sean Astin calling the group comprising himself and the Gang the "Alliance of the Ring of Key" is a reference to "The Fellowship of the Ring" from The Lord of the Rings. June 28, 2022: Warner Home Video releases Scooby-Doo! and Guess Who?: The Complete Second Season on DVD. This episode is pretty much the usual fare for Guess Who, Sean Astin (the guest star) is allowed one trait/reference and they run it into the ground, there's a passable mystery, and Scooby and Shaggy get to do stuff.

Not to say "Rrrrrrrr feminism bad!" but this was just painful. It comes out of nowhere, and it's very mean spirited. A video essay I watched recently about the Scooby gang pointed out that some of the worst versions of them are when you get the feeling from them that makes you wonder why they're even friends. I don't wonder that a huge amount in this series, but this moment did not feel like an interaction between friends. Velma's tone is very aggressive and seems more like something she'd be saying to a stranger not one of her closest friends. (I also don't think she'd use the word Mansplaining at all really but whatever.) The toilet in the hardware store wouldn't be able to flush without water or without being connected to plumbing.
