About this deal

At Mondelez, evloving consumer demands have long informed our ambition to provide a wide range of products that work for everyone and the new Cadbury Plant Bar range is the latest stop on that journey."

Now let’s talk flavours, Ombar Oat M’lk bars are available in 4 flavours: Smooth Original, Hazelnut, Salted Caramel Truffle (delicious), and Fruit & Nut (even more delicious). As a vegan, it has always perplexed me that it is so difficult to find a classic fruit and nut dairy-free chocolate bar, but I’m going off on a tangent. British multinational confectionery company Cadbury is finally bringing its first line of vegan chocolate bars to North America, starting with retailers across Canada. The Cadbury Plant Bars come in two flavors: Smooth Chocolate and Salted Caramel. To create the vegan chocolate bars, the company replaced the dairy milk with almond paste, which provides a plant-based alternative to the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk but with a hint of nuttiness. The recipe draws similarities to that of Dairy Milk, but sees the traditional "glass and a half of milk" replaced with almond paste and rice extract to create a smooth texture. It will go on sale in Sainsbury’s stores from November and at other retailers from early next year.

Nomo’s chocolate is available in big and small bars, chocolate drops, buttons, and even kids’ chocolate lollies. My favourite of the range is the fruit & crunch bar. The bar is studded with juicy raisins and crunchy crispy pieces to replace the nuts. During the day you can park in the lot right outside the door. For events after 6pm we are required to use a satellite lot across the street because we share a lot with two high volume restaurants ( Terrapin and Tempt). Pull right up to the door and a free, no-tip, valet (Bailey’s Dad) will park your car and retrieve it when you are ready. Following the announcement of Cadbury’s first vegan-certified chocolate, Plant Bar, we have been itching to get our hands on it! The launch is part of a growing trend for vegan products driven by consumers’ desire for healthier, more environmentally friendly options. Vego’s chocolate bars are wrapped in a compostable wrapper, cementing their aim to support animals, the environment, and human rights.

As little as 15 minutes if you are on a mission and doing a smaller project. The average project is about 45 minutes to an hour. Some Macrame classes will exceed two hours. Cadbury is launching its first vegan Plant Bar in November, 2021 - it will come in two flavours: Smooth Chocolate and Smooth Chocolate with Salted Caramel (Image: Mondelez International / Cadbury) What they say We offer a waiting list. Once we call and confirm all reservations we will give you a call if spots open. Dark chocolate is something that I’ve grown to love as I’ve gotten older. The bitter flavour takes some getting used to, but once you’ve learned to love the deep, rich taste you’re in for a treat. If you want the best vegan dark chocolate, it has to be Tony’s Chocolonely. The lengthy development process is reportedly due to ensuring that the creaminess of the chocolate used in original Cadbury Dairy Milk products is replicated in the new plant bar. After two years of development, Brits will soon be able to get their hands on the Cadbury Plant Bar in "Smooth Chocolate" and "Smooth Chocolate with Salted Caramel pieces". When Cadbury Plant Bar launches, it will join a number of other iconic brands that have also added vegan chocolate to their offerings, including the Vegan KitKat created by Nestlé, and Lindt’s Vegan Oat Milk chocolate range. Luxury chocolatiers have hopped on the trend too, including French brand La Maison du Chocolat, which launched its first 100% vegan collection box earlier this year. Sorry it's taken this long. Sorry it seemed like we weren't listening to your calls. Sorry for not being able to respond to the rumours. And sorry for all the other chocolate you've had to eat while you waited.

Cadbury is to launch its first vegan Plant Bar - made with almond paste instead of milk as well as '100 per cent sustainably sourced cocoa'.

What we reviewed

Cadbury apologised for the two-year delay in getting this product to market, stating that "perfection takes time." The company also cheekily added it was "sorry for all the other chocolate you've had to eat while you waited," a nod perhaps to the massive explosion in vegan chocolate products hitting the shelves over the last two years.
