We know there’s a strong correlation between our mental and physical health and so it made absolute sense for us to create a journal with a holistic approach to self-care. We were both struggling with our mental health and knew we needed something that would encourage us to make journaling, mindfulness and gratitude part of our everyday lives. And so the Yellow One was born. We feel morning and evening practices are the way to get the most out of the The Positive Wellness Journal. But take it easy and don’t force it. You'll lose the benefits as soon as you add a ‘must’ into the equation! We’ve both struggled with our mental health and truly understand the debilitating effect this can have on life. Because of this, we wanted to create a tool that would help us make the most of these moments. The fact that we are both passionate stationery lovers meant our first product could only be one thing. It’s designed as a 12-week course, but you can dip in and out as you need, adding in the date yourself when you work in it. Activities such as the Mirror Mirror exercise ask us to reflect on the good in ourselves rather than the negative. With the stresses and strains of today's world, our mental and emotional wellbeing has become more important than ever before. Whilst there are numerous calming apps and you tube videos to aid relaxation and reduce anxiety, nothing quite beats the power of writing thoughts down by daily journaling. I know I have mistakenly bought all the planners at Target and tried to find something that fits my type of business and my busy personal life.
