About this deal

The main character is a Palestinian Christian and he is doing wonderful things to change his corner of the world. But the author isn't Jewish, but rather a Palestinian Christian whose family had peacefully farmed their land in Galilee for generations.

Of course, it was not the most entertaining book, it was boring at times, but when I read of the difficult times and the cruel punishments that him and his family/friends were thrown into, it was the outcome and how they survived that impacted me the most. I you would like to learn more on the history of Israel and Palestine, or you just like an inspiring true story then you may enjoy this book.I knew virtually nothing of the issues between these two nations (only that they existed), and it was enlightening and saddening to learn the details.
