I think this book would have benefitted from being longer; as it is it just felt rushed and the development from fake friends to friends to lovers was kind of nonexistent. I've loved watching Ziggy's growth throughout the entire series, so finally getting her book was a treat! Now, there are some very mild spoilers ahead, so I'll hide them just in case you want to go into this book completely blind as well. Again, on any other day, I would probably throw up my hands and walk off, enjoy bursting Ren's idyllic bubble by telling him that I'd appreciate it if he asked his best friend to cough up my panties the next time he sees him.He needed to appreciate having a friends like Ziggy and her crew before he could feel like he was worthy of a romantic relationship with her.

Their slow-burn romance is filled with longing to be more and it is so satisfying when it finally unravels! and the way ziggy constantly saw through his bad-boy-don’t-give-a-shit front and made him realize that he is so much more than what he thinks of himself?
