How to Play Guess Who: Make a copy of the original file in Canva and change the name of the new file. Then have fun making as many custom guess who games as you would like. Popular belief is that a binary search is the most efficient approach to the game, where each question halves the number of possible identities. [2] This can be applied by asking complex questions - such as "Does your character have red hair, or glasses, or a big nose?" - where a yes or a no eliminates exactly half of the remaining characters. [3] Such a strategy takes only four questions to reduce the field to three people, giving the fifth question a 50/50 chance of identifying the opponent's character. While I didn’t like the Guess Who? Card Game as much as the original game, this doesn’t mean that it is a terrible game. Many of the best things about the original game also apply to the card game. The core gameplay is still pretty fun. It is still satisfying when you ask a question that allows you to get rid of a lot of options. The game is still really easy to play. It can be taught to new players in a couple minutes at max. The rules are about as straightforward as possible where almost anyone could play the game. I think children and families in particular could really enjoy the game. If you enjoy the original Guess Who?, I see no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy the card game. The Guess Who game is designed for two players, though it can be adapted for more players by incorporating multiple game boards and players taking turns guessing the characters chosen by others. The game is suitable for children and adults and can be enjoyed by individuals of various ages.

This template comes with two versions that work for the classic game with square character tiles as well as the game with tall rectangular character tiles. In a typical Guess Who game kit, you get a tray full of pegs. These are used to record the scores and go into the holders towards the top of each player’s board. For every correct guess that you make, or for every wrong guess that your opponent makes, you place a peg into a holder.

Modern commentators have noted a bias toward white and male characters in Guess Who. In 2012, a six-year-old girl wrote to Hasbro asking why there were only five female characters to choose from, against nineteen male. Hasbro's response noted that each characteristic in the game – such as wearing glasses, or having red hair [4] – was based on a numerical equation, and deliberately appeared exactly five times. The company wrote that the game was intended to "draw attention away from using gender or ethnicity as the focal point, and to concentrate on those things that we all have in common, rather than focus on our differences". [5]
