About this deal

So yeah, maybe Hard Target doesn’t actually deserve the full five-star rating - but I’m an unabashed fan with a big nostalgic heart - so I’m keeping it. It’s been a favorite ever since that first viewing and I’ve watched it countless times since. It’s when Van Damme was at his best to see on the big screen before the ego and severe cocaine addiction took over. JCVD Still pumps out some fun movies, but nothing has come close to the excellence that is Hard Target. Now if they want to pair him up with Scott Adkins again and do a Hard Target 3 - I’d be all for that mayhem! After receiving an extensive restoration effort, Bloodsport is finally ready to take home the top trophy with an often stunning 2160p 1.78:1 transfer with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Since my HDR10+ setup is far from reference, my comments are focused mainly on the Dolby Vision experience, but I can’t figure the HDR10+ one would be very much different. include a few stray damage marks and the aforementioned noise, but these are small issues at most and are far, far outweighed by its

sources, and more robust (but not overly saturated) hues. Its only extremely minor shortcomings -- aside from the slightly different palette The disc presents a 3840x2160/24p BT.2020 image in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1, and uses a Wide Colour Gamut (WCG), High Dynamic Range and Dolby Vision (and HDR10+), and is encoded using the HEVC (H.265) codec. Writer, actor, filmmaker, studio head and media titan, Tyler Perry, is America’s consummate multihyphenate. But underneath this entertainment behemoth is a man working humbly to heal his childhood trauma by transforming his pain into promise. Maxine’s Baby: The Tyler Perry Story, a nod to his mother’s love, is a tender and intimate portrait of visionary and innovator Tyler Perry: his harrowing but faithful road to the top of an industry that didn’t always include him. With unfettered access, directors/filmmakers Gelila Bekele and Armani Ortiz lead us into the inner-world of a man, whose story has never fully been told, as he becomes a father and a media mogul with a mission to pave his own road to the top. The product is a profound lesson on remembering where you came from to know where you want to go. Jean-Claude Van Damme: An Uppercut Into the Action Movie A-List (31:29) - This video interview with star JCVD covers alot of ground including his first meeting with Cannon co-founder Menahem Golan at the Milan International Film Festival, arriving in Los Angeles color palette; previous home video presentations leaned warmer and this obviously has a touch of teal added, but in my opinion it's not flagrant The issue with the audio on the first pressing of the disc was the right and left channels were flipped. This wasn't always noticeable as so much of the mix is fairly front/center focused, but when there was some movement you could easily notice the problem. The motorcycle chase sequence is a key example: there's a shot where Chance and Nat are under an overpass riding from left to right with the guys pursuing in a car drives in left to right. The original mix had these elements flipped. So that's what you really need to listen for.

Jean-Claude Van Damme's breakthrough was this low budget live-action inspiration for Mortal Kombat - blisteringly basic but also remarkably effective.Things are a little fuzzy when it comes to the VC-1 1080p transfers (aspect ratios: 1.78:1 for 'Bloodsport' and 2.35:1 for 'Timecop'), and I mean that quite literally: the image softness on these transfers is very gauzy and noticeable. out the numerous fight scenes in a way that complements rather than distracts from the action. I found it to be a very enjoyable and surprisingly
