The Nord X sizes in at 100x31x23mm, that’s pretty small. It’s a little wider than previous Nords, but it’s also build tougher. Anyway, I’m going to try and keep confusion to a minimum with this review. My rather small brain hurts trying to keep up with all the pod systems being released lol! The Nord X isn’t overly complicated. There’s no real bell’s and whistles just a straight up variable wattage device, with adjustment.The matching two pods included in the kit are equipped with RPM 2 Mesh 0.16Ω coil and RPM Mesh 0.4Ω coil, which can hold a massive 6ml of e-liquid to ensure long-lasting vaping and reduce frequent filling. It’s probably a good idea to top the pod up though to prevent the cotton becoming dry, no one cherishes a dry hit lol! On the bottom of the device, you’ll find a USB-Type-C charging port, hidden under a rubber plug. When you see this plug, you’ll know that Smok have taken this IP67 thing seriously, because it’s an absolute pain in the butt to close completely, but it is water tight, which is what they were going for. Nord X pods are held securely in place with 4 strong magnets in each corner and have a large silicone stopper on the side fill helps protect against unwanted leakage.

This one fits the RPM2 POD, and is definitely the powerhouse of the two coils. You pump this baby right up and you’ll get fantastic satisfying flavour at a wattage that feels volumous. The wide open airflow is perfect for this coil. You will blow through your juice with this one though, so make sure you keep your e-liquid bottle handy!
