I don’t wanna be extreme and say that it was my favourite chapter but … IT WAS MY FAVOURITE CHAPTER !!!If you were physically pained by the cliffhanger ending of Blood Moon Sanctum, you may be entitled to financial compensation. enemies-to-lovers (although, I'm more inclined to a little enemies-to-friends-to-lovers. slightly friends:)))) Zian Schafer writes a fresh, tantalizing fantasy that is going to have readers on the edge of their seats from first word to last. It takes a lot for me to truly give a fantasy five stars. But this novel felt so new and fresh with some amazing characters that you are sure to fall in love with.

How does one de-stress? How can one be stress-free? To be honest, I loved every second of this book. I had SO much fun reading it & I could not put it down once I started it. You know that feeling when you immerse yourself into a new book, a new world, and you don't wanna leave it? That's the feeling I got for this book! The ending was absolutely insane and very much anxiety inducing. I am simultaneously excited yet terrified for what will happen in the next book. I cannot believe that we have to wait until 2024. The wait will be torturous but I know that it will be worth it. Now, it’s not everyday you find a fantasy that threatens to steal your heart and bewitch your mind and soul. ~~ I’ve had the privilege to Beta Read this beauty and now that it’s so close to coming out in the world, I can’t help but scream with delight ( after you read the book, you’ll wish it was Gideon making you scream and not delight ;) If I just had to sum this up in a sentence it would be this: This book will take you straight out of your longest reading slump.Unique maps don't have any inherently immune monsters. Dungeons, on the other hand, all have at least one monster with 180 resistance to each damage type. And don’t let me even start off the sexual tension between the characters because … I can go into heavy detail about it !!!! And I won’t be complaining for a second about what the author has made me go through with them !!!!! Coming to the book, it's boring. Up untill the last 10% of the book, I was bored out of my mind and wanted to dnf. The story feels like narration of a book with a deadpan voice. The idea or the plot should naturally hold mystery or anticipation, but there was none of that. I would've liked her to get caught one time and her plan not working out. Most affixes have 3 tiers of attribute ranges, with each tier becoming available at the corresponding map tier - T2 maps can roll the first two ranges and T3 maps can roll any of the three. The ending (where they confess their love and smash hard) felt rushed. Gideon still hadn’t told her anything about himself or his secrets, which has bothered Dex for some time. In the beginning, he also said he didn’t trust her enough to mention the ring, but then even when he does trust her he doesn’t mention it. At the end of the book, she reveals her secret as he is about to reveal his own, but it feels strange that they both only felt comfortable in doing this after having sex. It seems like something to do beforehand.

Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. We get Gideon's POV the first time and he already has feelings and they've had 0 real conversation. The romance in this book is just.... no. No chemistry between the characters. He just falls in love with her and there is not mention or even an insinuation about her feelings towards him but then suddenly woohoo surprise "I love you" after they kiss for the first time.Thanks so much for the ARC in exchange for an honest review! The summary of the book captivated me because Dex has been hiding for so long because every kingdom wants her. Her life is a curse, and she wants OUT! Gideon is what makes this book like reallll hot🔥Not only does this push forth a heavy and tense enemies to lovers…Gideon plays a role that I haven’t ever seen yet in a fantasy.
