About this deal

A nice hot bath is exactly what you need to relax and pamper yourself on a cold winter night. You know what would make that bath even better? This snowman bath bomb! The snowman’s face was cut using a scroll saw. However, if you don’t have one, a jigsaw might work. If you are considering a jigsaw, be aware that these parts are small, so go slowly, and be mindful of your fingers! Nailers (optional)

Finally, attach the nose. Apply glue to the two tabs and then position the nose on the face so the tabs are on the left and right sides and the nose is centered between the cheeks. Press the nose against the face with a bit of pressure to make sure the tabs are well adhered. Hold the nose in place for at least twenty seconds so the glue can fully dry. To begin, lay a piece of butcher paper down on your work surface to keep your cut pieces nice and clean while working. Now you can add the ribbon (Piece O) and holly (Pieces P and Q) to your hat if you’d like. To add the ribbon piece around the bottom edge of your hat, start by applying glue to one end and pressing that end against the hat in the same spot as your hat seam. Hold it there until the glue dries. Then wrap the rest of the ribbon around the hat, following the bottom edge. Apply glue to the other end of the ribbon and press it down, making sure it’s aligned with the end you already attached. TIP: I used MDF pieces between the slats to help position them, but you could use any similar material, like plywood. Sledding during the winter months is such a blast. Can you recall the rushing, heady sensation of swishing down white slopes and feeling the biting wind against your cheeks?

Now let’s attach the earmuff connector piece to our snowman’s head. Apply a small amount of glue to one end of your rectangular piece and press it against the side of the head. You can align it right in the center of the flat section on the head’s side. I’m sure you have a few bowls and light globes like the ones you see here lying around. Isn’t it time you did something with them, like repurpose or upcycle them? Instead of buying boards, I used T1-11 siding (a type of plywood) that I had left over from renovating my garage. I used my circular saw and a Kreg Rip-Cut to rip the siding into strips the same width as the pine boards. Don’t worry if you don’t have 3mm plywood or if you don’t want to buy any. You can use nearly any thin plywood-like material instead. For instance, I used old pieces of ⅛” beadboard paneling to create these mitten ornaments, but almost any thin material, like lauan, hardboard, etc., could work. These luminaries are safe for toddlers and kids, too. So you can have them help you make this craft project. Grab some flameless tealight candles from here and get started. 13. Pipe Cleaner SnowballsA glass jar, to begin with, some mod podge, and a couple of sponges to create some sponge art on the inside of the glass. You’ll want to practice this to achieve that ‘frosted’ effect with white paint. But the Valentine-themed light up snowman might be my favorite. I love how the heart cutouts look lit up with a tea light or fairy lights! I’ll show you how to use either option to celebrate multiple holiday seasons! The T1-11 I used is about a ¼” thinner than pine boards, so your lantern might look slightly different, but it will still be adorable! Winter is perhaps the best season to add rusticity to your decor. Just think of a dark woody aesthetic, a log fire going, and a warm plaid blanket to curl up under. It’s simple rusticity, just like these rustic snowman ornaments. Alternatively, you can make your own pompoms if you’re so inclined; although that’s going to take you much longer to wrap this up. 17.
