About this deal

Battery Information: x 5 AA batteries are required for the LED dials, which are not included with the barbecue We were so pleased with it and the fast delivery of a couple of spares (thermometer and drip tray) that it seemed foolish not to replace like with like. I also appreciated the built-in thermometer. When using the BBQ, we got the temperature up to 220°C and our food was perfectly cooked. One of my favourite things about this BBQ was how easy it was to control the temperature. You can change the cooking temperature by adjusting the height of the charcoal tray. This can be raised or lowered using a crank handle. Raising it will bring the charcoal closer to the food and increase the cooking temperature. Lowering it will decrease the cooking temperature.

If you can persevere through a bit of time-consuming assembly, this BBQ is a really excellent choice. I know I’ve mentioned a few small design flaws throughout this review, but they are all very minor things. We're truly sorry to hear about the issue you encountered with your BBQ. This is certainly not the experience we expect our valued customers to have with our products. The fact that there is an adjustable coal tray to help control the temperature is a great feature. This definitely helps with value for money and makes this BBQ easy for both beginners and experts to use. Sarah was absolutely right, though, the BBQ is all stainless steel, with only the obvious components (controls, battery enclosure for LEDs and igniter unit, etc.) being made of plastic. I can't impress upon you how important to me a stainless steel BBQ is. As long as it's looked after well, it will last for a good number of years. I treat the outside with a very light coating of baby oil, which removes any fingerprints and marks. The inside gets a good cleaning with a brush (plastic, not metal, in my case) and a small amount of soap and water (which I wipe dry after it's cleaned).

TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Indulge in the power of six stainless steel burners, boasting an impressive 12 kW of cooking power in total and a side burner delivering an additional 2.5 kW, each easily ignited via Piezo ignition for safe and precise cooking. The double-walled hood traps heat, while the built-in thermostat ensures culinary perfection. You can prepare a variety of meats and veggies simultaneously, delighting your taste buds and impressing guests with every mouthwatering dish. I jumped at the chance to test the CosmoGrill Outdoor XL Smoker Barbecue . It seemed like a great option for those who regularly have friends over, with a generous cooking area of 58 x 42.5 cm. Plus, I liked that it doubles as a smoker as well as a grill. Its affordable price tag makes it all the more appealing, so I was looking forward to seeing if it lived up to my expectations! Temperature Control: Achieve culinary perfection with the built-in temperature gauge. Experience the tantalizing flavours of a flame-grilled feast with our intelligently designed chimney and adjustable air vents, promoting a superior flow of heat and smoke, resulting in that coveted smoky taste. The height-adjustable coal tray, complete with a sturdy stainless steel handle, ensures effortless customization of heat levels, allowing you to achieve the ideal cooking environment for your culinary creations. Before purchasing a 6+2 burner I want many questions answered which were not in the online description. The BBQ is made of cheap, Chinese steel. The paint easily chips when building. But I decided to proceed.

It is actually a good design but a real pain to put together, takes about 3 hrs with all the tiny parts and screws. Once I assembled it though, I’m pleased with the product and have to say it cooks food well. – ILSC Housekeeping To make your grilling process more enjoyable, the CosmoGrill includes a variety of accessories and attachments. Additionally, there are adjustable air vents which can be used to control the air flow. This also helped to control the cooking temperature. Cooking: The features are a real upgrade on my old barbecue. The ability to raise or lower the coals to control the heat is useful. I upgraded to the cast iron grilles. The burgers I cooked for the barbecue's first use were juicier than any I've cooked on anything else, with nice char lines. I've not smoked anything yet, but I'm looking forward to trying that. Also good, was that by closing the lid and vents after cooking, I was able to save the remaining unburned charcoal for my next cook, which I couldn't have done with my old open-top barbecue. All in all, thanks to the removable ash tray, I found this BBQ pretty easy to clean. One of the only issues I encountered was that a couple of larger pieces of charcoal had fallen into the ash tray. As the tray is very shallow, it was then a bit more difficult to pull out.
