About this deal

Made some tries… first of all I cleaned the filters of my case (I found something I can barely assimilate to wool rather than dust), and that made me gain some degrees.

Hmm, yeah you're right. Using HWINFO64 I can see the temps up around 100C at max load, the CPU starts to thermal throttle at exactly 100C. Someone asked same question 4 years ago about 1 fan vs 2 fans on CPU cooler and one tested it with H80i cooler similar as your cooler.

question: as I mentioned before, my motherboard is the old P8Z77-I Deluxe which provides only 1 CPU fan header and 1 Chassis fan header, so when I install the pump, by common sense I will connect the fan 4-pin cable to the CPU fan header. But I know there is a pump fan lead cable, to where I should hook it up?? So i'm building a new Alder lake pc, and I happen to have an H80i v2 from my previous one. I was very happy with its performance and would love to use it in my new H210i, since I gather it would be about the only AIO I could fit on the rear exhaust that could handle my new i5-12600K (I wanna leave the front rad slot open for a GPU cooler).

Maximum coolant temperature in regard to the physical system limits? Or how much should you expect to see for your use?"... well, both indeed. Please note: For iCUE 4 on macOS, currently only HID and audio products (listed below under HID gaming peripherals) are supported. I fitted an old H80i I had laying around to an Asus TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS D4 motherboard with an i7 12700 CPU and it works very well. The copper plate still covers the entire CPU heat spreader, even though it's quite a bit bigger than an LGA1200 one. I get more than decent temps, and very low noise on idle. That depends on several factors. The pump that moves the liquid in the cooler is typically silent or at least inconsequential compared to other PC noises. AIO models usually have fans, which will get noisy if they operate at high speed or are dirty. You can decrease fan noise by keeping them free of dust and monitoring their settings via the BIOS if possible. The good news is that, with liquid cooling, fans usually don't have to work as hard and are less likely to make lots of noise.
