I do not own the characters or the television show. I am simply recycling characters and transforming the work into a creative alternate universe of my own volition for no monetary gain, but for reading pleasure strictly. The only characters I own in this story are ones that have nothing to do with the television show. I am equally excited and sad for the upcoming finale for the series but am sure that it will be the ending that Bertram and Sorin deserve.

There are some sweet moments in this book, Sorin and Bertram truly fall in love and Sorin learns he can trust one dragon (besides his children), but there are hard decisions and sacrifices made as well and a lot of time spent without each other. But throughout all this there is love. This was a short and spice filled read that i devoured! There was a decent plot, but i don’t think it was the focus of the story. It was the first time that the author’s note at the beginning made me google one of the trigger warnings, so that was fun. I did not know if an omega's horrid past could rival Peregrines, but Sorin's is close. The difference is that Sorin's mistreatment has festered into anger. It lit a fire under him to want to make things right for all the omegas who have been wronged. Even if it meant his own happiness suffered. Even if it means he will have to leave his beloved clutch behind. Or his beloved dragon.
