I 100% recommend you check trigger warnings when looking to read this series, and it is a dark romance, but I never felt weighed down by the intensity.Now the reason for my rating, at the end of 𝐇𝐒𝐓𝐓 we know that him and Juniper are a thing and i didn't really like that because 𝐈 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑.

After a cult tried to sacrifice me to their wicked God, I went on the run, doing whatever was necessary to survive. It was cool to read a bit about Leon and Rae too, I like when books interfere in each other's time line like they do in this series.This story follows a broken woman who's only ever known how to fight and survive and who's not apologetic about her thirst for the blood of the people who wronged her. Zane goes through a change too and I enjoyed his sarcastic remarks, dark dominant side but also him being vulnerable and turning the power over to Juniper in their relationship.
