About this deal

Eastern Green Mamba: Arboreal snakes native to the coastal regions of Southern and East Africa. They can be found in the dense vegetation of tropical rainforests. Zambia– This country is increasing in popularity because of conservation efforts, improvement in its economy and infrastructure, and its beautiful 20 national parks. I'm not entirely sure what the story was about, except that it was some rather undefined travels through an unrealistic Africa. Characters kept appearing and then disappearing and I wasn't ever sure if the "ants" were a metaphor for soldiers or not. As letters were added to the alphabet the story became clearer, but never to an extent that I was intrigued by it. What kept me going was to see how well Abish dealt with the challenge, which I think he did admirably well. The Guinea baboon, the smallest of the baboons, has a conservation status of ‘Near Threatened’; the conservation status of other four species is ‘Least Concern’.

Although most countries are undeveloped, Africa is one of the best travel destinations in the world. Top destinations include Maasai Mara National Reserve (Kenya), Victoria Falls (Zambia), Pyramids of Giza (Egypt), Cape Town (South Africa) and Marrakech (Morocco). Alphabetical List of All Countries in Africa Shoebill: These massive birds are found in swamps and wetlands of Central and East Africa. Shoebills don’t migrate and spend their days hunting in papyrus swamps. You can find them in the Bangweulu Wetlands in northeastern Zambia. The common ostrich may not be able to fly, but it is the holder of multiple records. Not only is it the world’s largest bird, but it is also the fastest (on land) and the producer of the biggest eggs! Namibia– It’s one of the least populated countries in the world, but has 12 national parks, plus other reserves and protected areas one can explore. The plains zebra is the most common and widespread zebra. It is found in several parts of south-central and southern Africa. The conservation status of the species is Near Threatened due to over-hunting and the fencing off of traditional grazing routes. An estimated 1.37 billion people live in the second-largest continent, representing about 14 percent of the world's population (in 2021). By far the most populous country in Africa is Nigeria, with a population of more than 211 million.

The leopard is known for its great strength, and is capable of dragging its prey up a tree. By doing so, the leopard can prevent its meal from being stolen by lions and other large predators. The world’s largest and heaviest beetle: The Goliath beetle can grow to 5 inches in length and weigh up to 0.25lbs. It lives in tropical Africa. The desert locust is found in North Africa, the Middle East and parts of Asia. Like all locusts, it is a member of the grasshopper family Acrididae. The warthog’s tusks are used for fighting with other warthogs and as a means of as defense against predators. Theory 1: large scale convection currents in the mantle, the heating and cooling of mantle matter, develop enough power to move the plates.

Other African Territories

Most of the characters in the book is not that necessary, except Alva, ok, Alex and Allen "survivied" till the end, they also can count.

Antelopes are a group of hooved mammals within the family Bovidae (the family also includes animals such as bison, buffaloes, sheep, goats and cattle). On the heads of both male and female giraffes are horn-like growths called ossicones. The giraffe’s closest living relative is the okapi. The word ‘hippopotamus’ is derived from ancient Greek for “river horse”. It is a fitting name for this large animal, which has a semi-aquatic lifestyle. Hippopotamuses spend most of the day bathing in water or mud, only emerging at dusk when the temperature is cooler.Wild Dog: Tanzania’s Ruaha National Park, South Africa’s Madikwe Game Reserve, and Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. Cape Cobra: Only found in Southern Africa. They live in a variety of habitats, like grasslands, savannahs, and deserts. Hyenas may look like dogs, but in fact are more closely related to cats. The animal group Carnivora (to which both dogs and cats belong) has two branches; Caniformia contains animals such as dogs, bears, and seals; while Feliformia contains animals such as cats, mongooses and hyenas. One literally breathes easier as the chapters progress and the language is progressively less constrained.
