About this deal

Gungan underwater city and the surface swamp ruins - a Boss Nass minifigure would be nice finally -, though unless a Gungan army is there, too, a large playset could be enough instead of a MBS. When we compare prices, I tend to look at it from several perspectives, I hope the readers here do the similar analysis too, and always be careful not to get addicted into being a fanboy. It’s true that the AT-AT rings in at the same price point as the 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon while having fewer pieces, but the difference isn’t too stark, and once built and towering over your minifigures, it will feel at least as impressive as the UCS Falcon. This walker set allows the largest variation in movement out of all we have seen prior to that. However, I myself often experience difficulties when I want to stabilize it on its legs. As I haven’t seen any negative comments from other people, I assume that this is an occasional issue, particularly with my set.

Invasion of Utapau: an updated Boga in a stable, while a well built "Hello there!" scenery could house a Trade Federation council with transport ship, Kenobi greeting Grievous in front of his army, the arriving clone army; with additional scenes of the battle outside (clone landing pad, speeders), Grievous's Starfighter's landing pad, and a search for Kenobi. Ohh, and it could house a unique shaped Commander Cody. One thing that is interesting about the feet, though, is that hidden on the bottom is a rubber tire. The sidewall of the tire protrudes just a millimeter or so below the bottom of the foot. The model is heavy enough that it still stands flat, but the rubber tire provides significant grip on whatever surface you have the AT-AT posed on. It’s a technique LEGO has exploited before, such as in 71720 Fire Stone Mech, and it’s frankly genius. Each foot has four identical sides, then three more of a second style, while the final side is unique (where the footpad yaw strut attaches). If you’re like me, when a set calls for multiples of a section (for instance, four feet) I build them in parallel rather than completing one and then starting over for the next. This became quite tedious on this set, though, as the cladding for the feet required building some sections 16 times. This sort of duplication is inevitable on a model like this, but it’s not what I’d call a fun and engaging building experience. This immense new LEGO model is massive in size and detail, paying homage to the gigantic vehicles in the film. It features 6,785 pieces, a movable head, spinning guns, adjustable legs, and side panels that open to reveal amazingly detailed interiors. The differences between this model and previous examples are immediately apparent, beyond the expected advances in construction techniques and parts. 75153 AT-ST Walker and 75254 AT-ST Raider were reasonably similar and this design retains some features from those sets, especially in the structure of the legs. However, the proportions are completely unique, which matches the onscreen vehicle. Now that you have seen all of the LEGO AT-ST sets between 2001 and 2019, can you name one that caught your attention the most? Although the piece count is quite low for the original retail price it had, and the build is pretty simple and straightforward, the final result is one magnificent set that is also a great display piece. As every other AT-ST, it looks fragile but I can assure you that it will not break. The legs have a fair bit of play in them, especially side to side, and can move about two inches left or right when positioning them. Thanks to the rubber grips on the bottom, though, they stay where you place them and unless you have all the feet really far in, the model doesn’t feel prone to tipping on its own.

Admittedly, this walker exceeds minifigure-scale too, although I think it looks reasonable when displayed beside minifigures or the gargantuan 75313 AT-AT. After all, targeting total accuracy for minifigures would require a size approximating the rendition from 8038 The Battle of Endor. While that model is good, increasing the scale permits superior detail. But if you want a more canonical way to access the interior, you can try the large cargo doors on each side, which swing out and up, and stay positioned nicely when open.Although the UCS AT-ST did not look as exceptional as the other early UCS sets like the Imperial Star Destroyer or Death Star II, it was an overall satisfying set that had a great design and was surprisingly sturdy.

Box II has 13 numbered bags spread across just three steps. It also has by far the shortest instruction booklet, since this entire box consists of building the same lower leg segment four times over. The analysis goes like this. I.e. how well the 700+ dollars, euros, pounds are worth: 1) comparing to other lego sets, 2) comparing to other toys, 3) comparing to other things in life. While, technically, you're right about the use of passive voice here, I think it works here, because (for me) it seemed to read like an introductory headline of sorts. For example, "this set is deserving of notice and here's why" (followed by the bullet points of positives and negatives). That's how I read it. I know that CapnRex101 is the reviewer, so I'm not altogether that concerned by whether the passive voice is used in the headlining statement.V-Wing Fighter | 6206 TIE Interceptor | 6207 A-Wing Fighter | 6208 B-Wing Fighter | 6209 Slave I | 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge | 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer | 6212 X-wing Fighter | 10174 Ultimate Collector's AT-ST ( UCS) | 10175 Vader's TIE Advanced (UCS) Other than that, the set includes the amazing Baze Malbus minifigure. This figure has an incredible amount of details and remains my favorite from the entire Rogue One line. Behind the troop bays, there’s a bay for Speeder bikes. Two are included in the set, though there’s room for four total in the AT-AT. It’s rumored that more Hoth-focused sets are on their way, so perhaps you’ll be able to give the AT-AT a full loadout soon. Coruscant: ok, the Republic Senate alone might not be the best idea, but a multiple-scene Coruscant ranging from the underworld (bounty hunter pursuit) to the surface (arriving on the planet in Ep1) could be a MBS set. The walker features E-WEB twin blaster cannons, MS4 laser cannons and a concussion grenade launcher.
