The show opens with a teenage driver accidentally killing another teenager who’s riding a motorbike. I could now, and if you want to, now’s the best time to start a binge watch. It’s all over with now, but there’s plenty of episodes to binge on, and it will take you some time to get through them all. Bobby Axelrod (Damien Lewis) left after season 5, with a new enemy of his, Michael Prince taking over Axe Capital. Season 6 was a strange one with Axe not being in it, but it was still been a good season with Michael Prince assuming the role of bad guy billionaire.
It’s kind of like a modern day Sex in the City mashed up with Friends. One for millennials that love a good coming of age show. I have loved watching this show, and it’s one that you can binge watch, with it’s gripping storyline and wanting to know what happens next. I absolutely love watching Brassic! It’s now in it’s 4th series for 2022, and it just seems to get better with age.If you’ve ever been fascinated in Japan and travel, this is for you. I enjoy most of the shows James May does, and Our Man In Japan is another good one. I just finished watching Clarkson’s Farm 2 and it was brilliant! I can’t recommend it highly enough.
It’s incredibly violent and bloody, so if you aren’t into that, you might want to give this one a miss. If a gangster thriller sounds like it’s up your street, it’s worth watching. A comedy drama coming of age series set in the 80s about a few friends who work at a rich country club is the best way to describe this. Every character is so likeable, there’s plenty of jokes and quotes running throughout the show, it’s brilliant. One of the marquee shows for Apple TV+, it’s The Morning Show. It’s a really good show with an all star cast including Steve Carrell, Reece Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, and centres on the breakfast show of an American TV channel. Cruel Summer season 2 began in June 2023, and is once again fantastic. This time it’s set in 1999-2000, with a completely new storyline and characters to the first. Once again, this is worth binge watching, you’ll not be disappointed.I couldn’t finish the list without some nostalgia, and it’s the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. It’s now showing on SKY Comedy and BBC iPlayer, and you can binge watch everything! The latest episode of The Grand Tour is called Eurocrash, which was released in June 2023 and see’s the boys travel 1400 miles through Poland, Slovakia, Hungry and Slevenia.
Have you ever wanted to watch a show set in India about 4 Indian women at different stages of their lives/careers? Probably not, but Four More Shots, Please! is all about that, and it works. Channel 4 has had some epic shows and box sets over the years, and you can catch up on them all with their All 4 platform. Whether you like something which is currently shown on Channel 4 or E4, or you want some nostalgia, you can binge watch so much. Derry Girls It’s a brilliant show, and if you haven’t already seen it, you should catch up starting from the beginning. It’s a bit of a slow burner, but you’ll be glad you invested your time.Have you ever thought about what happened after The Karate Kid from the perspective of Johnny’s point of view? That’s what Cobra Kai is all about. I watched the first series absolutely loved it, so watching the second series was a necessity. The show centres around 4 girls from Derry, Erin, Michelle, Orla and Clare, as well as Michelle’s cousin from England, James. As the name suggests it’s about the rise of the LA Lakers in the 1980s with players like Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. I love shows like this, which draw heavily on real life events but adds that bit of dramatization to it. The way this is shot is so unique and brilliant. Each episode is based on 1 day of the summer, but in all 3 different years. We see the whole summer unfold and find out exactly what is going on.
