About this deal

Make sure the batteries for the aircraft, goggles, and Motion Controller are all sufficiently charged for flight. If you are looking for an easy way to begin your flight journey of motion control drones, this nifty gadget is it! Perfect for techies, gadget geeks and drone enthusiasts alike, this gift is sure to keep them amused for hours.

Auto take-off and land: Getting the drone up in the air or getting it to land safely might seem easy, until you try it and then reality hits. Too much or too little power and it can end in disaster. With the Motion Drone it’s a breeze. Simply press the button on the side of the remote and up it goes. Press it again and watch it land without a hitch. In the video below, [Paweł] takes the motion controller for a test flight and comes away largely satisfied with the results. Some tweaks are in the works as you might expect for a first attempt, but nothing that would prevent you from building your own version today and experiencing what might be the next evolution of RC flying. With the Motion Drone it’s a breeze. Simply press the button on the side of the remote and up it goes. Press it again and watch it land without a hitch. Press and hold the power button of the Motion Controller until it beeps continually and the battery level indicators blink in sequence. Use the Brake button to activate the emergency brake and hover feature or to make the aircraft return to the Home Point. If you have just replaced your blades, be careful you haven't put your brand spanking new ones on too firmly, as this can stop the motors spinning freely (or even at all). Try raising them slightly up their spindes as this could give more room to rotate. The DJI FPV aircraft supports two video coding formats, while the DJI FPV Goggles V2 only supports H.264. Headless mode:Thismeans that it doesn't matter which way the drone is facing; it will still follow the command of your hand movement.

Altitude hold: The Motion Drone has a nifty feature where it automatically holds its height for you. That means you can focus on flying it where you want it to go without the worry of going too high and out of range, or too low and hitting the floor! Wise man once say, "to fly a drone, you must hover before you can fly." It's probably going to take you a few attempts just to get the drone off the ground, but these next tips should help.Press the Accelerator to control the drone to fly towards the circle seen on the goggles interface. TIP: If there is an emergency while returning to the Home Point, press the Brake button once to cancel RTH. In this blog, we will teach you how to use the DJI Motion Controller and enjoy a unique flight experience.

Altitude hold: The Motion Drone has a nifty feature where it automatically holds its height for you. That means you can focus on flying it where you want it to go without the worry of going too high and out of range, or too low and hitting the floor! Trimming is a critical part of flying a drone so always read your instructions to find out where the controls are to do this!

Obstacle sensing is only available when the aircraft is in N mode. In this mode, DJI FPV will automatically decelerate when it detects obstacles, but it will not automatically stop. The highest video transmission bitrate is 50 Mbps. Measured in an open, outdoor environment with no obstacles or interference. Blades not spinning? You might not believe this, but one of the most common reasons for a rotor not spinning is trapped hair! If you have a family pet (or just a particularly hairy family member!) you might find that over time hair can become trapped around the motor, which prevents it from spinning. Most blades pop off very easily so it's a super easy problem to fix. Some drones come with little u-wrenches to help pop them off. TIP: Before linking the aircraft with the Motion Controller, make sure you have linked the aircraft with the goggles.

Reasons to buy

When the drone is returning to the Home Point, please pay attention to any real-time changes of the Home Point location. Headless mode: Headless mode is a great feature, particularly for new pilots, which makes flying even easier. Now you don’t need to worry about which way the drone is facing and trying to figure out the correct command to give it. Simply put, if you want the drone to go to the left, tilt your hand left and that’s the way it will go, regardless of which way the drone is actually facing. Plus, headless mode gives you the opportunity to perform amazing 360° flips with ease. Simply push up the trigger on the side and watch in awe as the drone works its magic. This feature is only available when using DJI FPV. Transmitted images from the goggles to the app can be sent to a smartphone via cable (USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to lightning). Menkind Super Tip No. 4: The drone doesn't have to be up in the air flying to adjust the trim. As long as the controller is still connected to the drone (synced) then you can adjust the trim settings. This is really handy to know if the drone needs a lot of trimming. Simply land the drone, make your adjustments, then take off again to see if it's more stable. Rinse and repeat until you are happy you have the control. A new way to fly: Gone is the complicated remote and in comes a computer mouse styled gadget that works with the motion of your hand. Move your hand left and the drone flies to the left. Tilt your hand forwards and the drone flies forward. In no time at all you’ll have on-lookers thinking you’ve been flying for years, or inherited some serious Jedi skills!
