There was something about Serena that irked me the minute she stepped inside the B&B. I gave this book a star because it is an easy read and I did finish it. I decided to give it another star because I felt bad that this book didn't even grab me at any point. I will not be reading any further books by this author. Because Kirsty knows that once you invite trouble into your home, getting rid of it can be murder. Then She Vanishes (2019) Kathryn, her cold and bitter daughter, resents Una’s presence. More disturbing is the evidence suggesting two girls lived here before.

Just read the Girls who Disappeared – great read – just hope the reporter Jenna will appear in the next book Reply What you do have here though, is a good read, not challenging but holding its own on the enjoyment scale without taxing plots and characters. This book touches on mental health issues, which may serve as a trigger warning for some readers. But I felt the author did well to describe how Abi dealt with her sisters death, from the paranoia to the survivors guilt complex.
