The plot focuses on the romance of the protagonists, but when we are advanced in the story, you will get good surprises because several turns appear that will have you even more hooked. Regarding the characters, the protagonists are very well crafted, and in the end, we see a clear development. Additionally, the story would not be the same without the secondary characters that contribute many things to the novel and enable the readers to get a better understanding of the main characters.

Can I move to Blue Moon? I love the Blue Moon series (come on, crazed goats, meddling neighbors, the amazing Pierce brothers!!) and Not Part of the Plan is a fantastic addition. I loved Niko and Emma, their story and their happily ever after. But even more, I love the story of this town, the interaction between family and friends (and the occasional farm animal!!). This is the fourth in the series and can be read alone but I recommendreading the others. They are very good! And I love how each book builds toward the next.
