These hanging kebab skewers were designed for use with my tandoor oven (see my other instructable for: compact claypot tandoor oven). All of our stainless steel products are dishwasher safe and should not be left to soak prior to dishwashing.

They're made of easy-clean stainless steel;with flat rings to stop food spinning while cooking;and for easy turning Bicycle spokes of a suitable length with accompanying spoke nipple nut. I used 300mm length spokes. You can buy them new or recycle from a bicycle wheel. To allow this spoke nut end to be hung from the top, a brass picture hook will be used. This will be inserted allowing it to be secured by the spoke nut and hung. Ideal for pairing with the Stainless Steel Skewers 510mm for a truly authentic Turkish culinary experience. About 3mm of this thread can be grinded to make a sharp piercing spike. The hooks could not be turned upside down easily to alternate the cooked meat on the top and bottom of the skewer. You will need something to sharpen the spoke end. I used a grinding wheel. I guess you could use a metal file and vice to achieve the same result.
