About this deal

Introducing Joy-Con™, controllers that make new kinds of gaming possible, for use with the Nintendo Switch™ system. The following solid colors (without printed logos or elements) exist as part of special edition releases:

Purple Joy-Con (L) and Neon Orange Joy Nintendo Switch Neon Purple Joy-Con (L) and Neon Orange Joy

This isn't the only surprising Nintendo news today, the company has also revealed Everybody 1-2-Switch - a follow-up to the 2017 release, 1-2-Switch. You can learn more about this new game in the following story:Blofse I think the main reason is to give the ability to opt for that poppin double red, or that sweet sweet double blue combo One of the most wonderful things about the Nintendo Switch is the modular design, which allows you to remove your old boring Joy-Con controllers and slide in some new colourful ones to show the world how individual you are. Well crap, now I wish I hadn't gotten my original JoyCons repaired because I don't REALLY need more, but these are beautiful. Though I do wish they had done purple-pink (BEST) or yellow-green (ALSO GOOD) instead. One controller or two, vertical or sideways, motion controls or buttons…Joy‑Con and Nintendo Switch™ give you total gameplay flexibility.

Purple and Neon Orange Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Pair, Neon Purple and Neon Orange

Two Joy-Con can be used independently in each hand, or together as one game controller when attached to the Joy-Con grip For a game as vibrant and colourful as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate we have no idea why these Joy-Con are so boring to look at. Would it be churlish of us to assume that Nintendo overestimated how many people would want the standard grey Joy-Con and produced way too many of them? Yes, it looks like those lines were added at a later date to cash in on Smash – we're on to you, Nintendo! I'd also like to see more game themed ones officially from Nintendo. We got the LG Pokemon ones, but that color combo is hideous. Maybe we will get better ones from the 2019 game. We have the Smash ones too, but they are basically just grey with some highlights... I’m holding out on buying a second set because I’m hoping for them to release the Labo cardboard or SNES themed ones.Needs a Dpad. No mention of Horis solution to that though. I'm kinda surprised Nintendo hasn't made one themselves with a dpad and all the functionality unlike the hori. Had to send my Switch in for a repair (overheating, fan sounded like a motorcycle) so I sent my left joycon with it, I'm sure it'll be fine after that.

Every Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Color Released So Far

alienfossils I get why they do two different colors. When I got my original Switch I almost went with the gray, but went with the red and blue instead and I've actually liked the duel colors... It flows. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Frerohu3sjlgb1.png%3Fwidth%3D1440%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D8f9a1bdcfef01da5cb3ef431a6e0112fa6072c29 Awesome colors though I don't need any more sets of Joy-Cons in my household at the moment. My kids primarily play on their own handhelds, and I already have 3 sets of Joy-Cons. I have all of them (plus straps) except for the grey and Smash ones. I assume that the Smash ones would be read as standard grey ones by the console, again assuming that each Joy-Con only contains a single colour code which is identifiable by the console. The Splatoon 2 joycons are the only ones I didn't like to be honest, I wasn't a fan of the original blue and red controller but the pink and green was just especially off-putting for me.I like those colours, especially the purple and green. Kinda resembles blueberry and pear ice cream
