No, it's not a great film, but it's "good enough", one of those rare "Christmas movies" most viewers won't think was a waste of time. Though "The Santa Suit" is an exercise in subdued acting, writing, and direction, Kevin Sorbo's performance nevertheless stands out. I never thought much of this hairy-chest-with-a-dimple -- he did little more than read his lines in "Andromeda" -- but here he actually /acts/ and delivers a convincing characterization. If there's an Emmy for "Best Actor in a Made-for-Cable Movie", he should be nominated. I received a copy of this book from St. Martin's Press and Netgalley in return for an unbiased review. It turns out, however, that the house is a little more “well loved” than she expected, and the previous owners’ relatives left nearly everything in the house. Among the possessions left behind is a gorgeous, old-fashioned Santa suit. (The previous owner was the town’s Santa Claus for many years.) I loved the quaint town...I found it cozy and refreshing...in fact I would move there in a heartbeat. I loved the connection the people had in the town...I loved the rescue dog named Punkin. I loved the story of the letter that Ivy found in the old Santa suit. I just simply fell in love with the town! Whew! That is a lot of love! Can you tell I loved it??!

The Santa boots are in the form of velvet boot covers that imitate high-top boots. They are trimmed with a band of faux fur identical to that in the deluxe version of the Santa Clause costume, and as such suit it perfectly and help complete the picture. These covers can be worn on top of any footwear, although you have to bear in mind that the sizes given in the Sizes and options apply to when they are worn on typical winter boots; if they’re to be used on lighter shoes, they will also fit shoes 2 sizes larger than given. Santa’s boot covers are held in place with elastic straps – one at calf height, and two that fit beneath the soles. Father Christmas has no need to worry about being identified because of familiar shoes. Tall artificial leather boots or exclusive Santa boots made of real leather (and also trimmed with matching faux fur) are also available as options. Ivy, still hurting and bitter from her recent divorce, which forced her to leave the company she helped build, is ready for a new start. Tired of the rat race in Atlanta, she decides to buy an old farmhouse—sight unseen—in the small town of Tarburton, NC. She hopes that this will be the jumpstart she needs to redo her life. A workaholic businessman discovers there is more to Christmas than a dollar. This simple premise has been adapted to countless Christmas films and plays. Disney made a famous variation with their "The Santa Clause" in the early 90s. In that film a businessman becomes Santa after a chance encounter with the elf. This film, "The Santa Suit" is a riff of that film. This time the businessman is forced to have the appearance of Santa.

I must say that this movie actually turned out to be rather good, which was somewhat of a surprise. None of us had expected much from the movie, given the synopsis and the cast list. But "The Santa Suit" actually turned out to be a rather enjoyable movie. This story came along at the perfect time for me, even though I read it outside the Christmas season. Our main character, Ivy Perkins, just made it out of a divorce in Atlanta, and she has bought a farmhouse, sight unseen in North Carolina. The deluxe version of the Santa suit is made of top quality materials: soft and strong fleece, in a deep red colour, trimmed with a 4" (10 cm) wide band of ecru faux fur (2"/4.5 cm pile). Thanks to such details the costume makes a striking impression! Wash your suit after work in your own washing machine without any risk of getting colour on the trim.

Kevin Sorbo portrays the businessman Drake Hunter. Drake gives the appearance of a ruthless, dispassionate man who in his words built the business his father founded. Hunter Toys makes mostly cheap, breakable toys that are probably made in China. They also make a Princess Doll which is the only high quality product they manufacture, which is the last remnant of Drake's father.In this film Drake Hunter, the president of Hunter Marketing, has the perfect plan to boost sales for his father\'s toy company over the holiday season—hire department store Santas to promote his father\'s merchandise. When the real Santa Claus turns Drake into a Santa lookalike, Drake finds himself working as a dress-up Kris Kringle to make ends meet. Stripped of power and position, Drake discovers the importance of honesty, compassion, and respect. Ivy Perkins has just gone through a divorce and decided she needed a huge change in her life. Since Ivy can do her job from anywhere working remotely she decided she was going to buy a farmhouse sight unseen and move from Atlanta to a tiny town in North Carolina. This was exactly the palate cleanser I needed after a gritty dark thriller. If you love Hallmark movies, you are going to love this heartwarming Holiday novella. The Santa Suit delivers zero surprises, but that’s more than okay here. If you bite into a piece of Christmas fudge you want it to taste like fudge, right? Fudge yes you do!

The Santa Suit is such a heartwarming story, full of small-town charm, holiday spirit, hope, and love. You could almost feel the snow in the air and get enveloped in the holiday atmosphere. It was so freaking charming!! Ohhhh my heart! ❤️ This book was everything I had hoped for and more!
