About this deal

It is not necessary to insert and remove the shaft body with great force. When you find that the shaft body needs great force, it may be misaligned, please stop the operation, otherwise the hot plug base will be damaged, or the solder pad will fall off and the PCB will be directly discarded. If you want to factory reset the NJ80, you can do so by pressing and holding Esc, Left Ctrl, F12, and the right arrow key for 3 seconds. Mac Compatibility

The closest thing to the Keydous NJ-80, with a 75% wireless build and a focus on quality parts, is the excellent Keychron Q1 Pro. And that keyboard has a few distinct advantages over this one: a full metal body, better customization options, and far better software (again, standard QMK/VIA). The NJ80 is a 75% layout keyboard with an aluminum knob, a layout that is still pretty rare for a pre-built keyboard, especially at its price range. As I mentioned earlier, the F12 key doubles as a battery indicator. The lighting will glow red if the battery is low, and turn green once the keyboard is fully charged. Function Key Shortcuts Open the keyboard power switch, short press FN+ 4 4 key light flashing, the receiver into the computer USB port can be used.FN+Tab= Switch the sleep time of lights. If the Caps light blinks once, it will start to sleep if it is not used for 2 minutes. The knob cannot be configured for different functions, the default works as a volume wheel, with the press as a mute function. The steps on the volume wheel are subtle but noticeable. The knob is a very welcome feature that I’d love to see on more boards, Keydous’ implementation is as good as any other board, they’ve even included an option rounder knob in case you don’t like the default option.

Keydous did a pretty good job with the keycaps, with sharp, precisely-positioned legends. These are Dye-subbed PBT keycaps, which are actually doing the RGB underneath an injustice. Yes, the Keydous NJ80 does have RGB LEDs, but as the board is South-facing, the LEDs won’t do that great a job of illuminating your regular shine-through keycaps, which often have the legends on the upper portion of the keycaps. Lithium battery is built into the product. It is strictly forbidden to place the product in high temperature, high pressure and direct sunlight. If not used for a long time, please store the keyboard in a cool and dry environment, and turn off the power switch. WIFI signal interferes with Bluetooth signal to some extent, so bluetooth receiver cannot be too close to WIFI signal source.Use the original charging cable to connect the USB port of the computer for charging, and the charging current should be less than 1A. Keydous offers a 12-month warranty with the NJ80. But since this is a Chinese manufacturer, if you end up buying from AliExpress or Taobao, make sure there’s a straightforward way to claim the warranty if you end up needing to. Conclusion On the software side, the NJ80 uses Keydous’ proprietary software for all customization features. You are able to remap the main key layer along with one extra layer, however, your options on remapping are pretty limited; plus, there are no media keys. Moreover, you can record macros—which is always nice to see.

Tương thích: Windows / MacOS / Linux (Có Driver riêng để chỉnh LED / Macro / Update firmware / Keymap) The Caps indicator is a case-sensitive indicator. You can use the FN+ Caps command to change the color of the indicator, but it does not participate in the indicator effect. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. The fact that much more expensive, mass-market keyboards have worse feeling space bars shows the care Keydous put into perfecting each NJ80 they make. SoftwareFN + | = switch lamp effect mode (light waves, ripples, raindrops, serpentine, follow, aggregation, sine wave, Colorful springs, flowers, laser, peaks, and turns, colorful vertical and horizontal, breathing, neon) I wasn’t sure how I would like the Gateron Pro Milkey Yellow switches at first because they seemed to have a lot more resistance than the ones I am used to. In use, they are smooth as butter. However, when writing long articles, I have a bit of finger fatigue from needing to press a bit harder than I normally do. However, these switches have quite a lot of springiness to them, making them feel good to use and increasing my typing speed a little bit. They are also incredibly quiet, which is an absolute requirement for me. FN+M (hold down for 2 seconds, and blink for 2 to enter, and blink for 1 to exit) = Enter MAC mode (switch Alt and Win, right Alt to win, right CTRL to Alt) Keydous offers the NJ80 in wired, wireless Bluetooth, and wireless with the included 2.4Ghz dongle. The latency in Bluetooth is excellent as the NJ80 uses the superior Bluetooth 5.0 standard. You can easily get away doing regular typing tasks on Bluetooth, although I suggest switching to either wired or using the 2.4Ghz dongle if you want to game. There’s even a small slot on the underside of the keyboard to store the 2.4Ghz dongle, which is super convenient. I do wish the volume knob was remappable as well, but alas it’s not. Being able to use the knob in applications like Photoshop or Premiere would give it a wide range of uses which would’ve turned the Keydous NJ80 into a productivity consideration.

The full ABS plastic body of the Keydous NJ80 comes with one color option: off-white. This gives the keyboard a pretty distinct retro vibe that I’m very much a fan of. But I understand if not everyone is a fan of the yellow space bar, baby blue escape key, and gold volume knob. While the PBT keycaps on the NJ80 are great, it doesn’t allow for any RGB shine-through if that’s your jam. The steel plate however does reflect the RGB well, resulting in an even glow throughout the keyboard. Switches The original charging cable must be used to connect the USB port of the computer for charging, and the charging current should be less than 1A. On the inside, we have the keyboard wrapped in soft plastic. If you were hoping to get some PE foam to mod your keyboard with, you might be disappointed. Under the keyboard there are alternative keycaps, for you to turn the Keydous NJ80 into a Mac keyboard, or just change up the style with different colored keycaps. Previously, I saw some people mentioning that they got their Keydous NJ80 with a second volume knob, but I didn’t get one with mine. The operation method of Bluetooth pairing :(first turn on the power switch at the bottom of the keyboard)this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Hold down the FN+1 key for 3 seconds. The keyboard enters the pairing state, and the digit 1 indicator blinks at short intervals. Keydous claims the NJ80’s 4800mAh battery offers up to 28 hours of battery life with RGB on, and up to 90 hours with the RGB lighting off. In my testing, I didn’t find any reason to refute Keydous’ claims, as I never had the NJ80 die on me when I was using it. You can configure the Keydous NJ80 in four switch options out of the factory: Gateron Pro Browns, Milky Yellows, TTC Gold Pinks, and Speed Silvers. This is a pretty healthy variety of switches that offers different enough typing experiences that would make most people happy. Keep the Bluetooth receiver away from WIFI signal sources, handle the keyboard gently when inserting and removing the shaft body, and store the keyboard in a cool and dry environment when not in use.
