With built in Bluetooth simply connect any Bluetooth device to the Goodmans Soundbar and listen to all your favourite music from any one of your compatible devices. The reason for that is quite simple, it just doesn’t sound very good at all with music, TV or movies.

It’s slightly better with music but the lack of bass is still a problem, which means kick drums and basslines sit too low in the mix. As the tidal wave powers through the streets there’s supposed to be a big, thunderous rumble but it’s just not there. These panels lift the body off the surface slightly, creating a small gap that gives the down-firing subwoofers a bit of breathing space. It’s a simple but effective solution, although it’s not particularly secure when placed on the base horizontally – it wobbles slightly when you nudge it, and it’s quite easy to knock off. The speakers have enough puff to fill a large living room – even at two-thirds of maximum you might start annoying the neighbours – and when you push loudness to the upper echelons it stays composed, with only occasional signs of distortion. There’s a differently coloured button for each input and /- keys at the bottom for bass and treble adjustment. I have Bose Solo 5 TV Soundbar Sound System which I bought soundbarscan post and by using this I pay more. I have since connected the soundbar via the headphone socket of the tv, but it seems to now replicate the awful sound quality of the built in tv speakers. It’s a 100W, six-speaker affair equipped with some tasty features and a space-saving one-box design that allows you to place your TV on top. There are two different sound settings for horizontal and vertical placement, which are selected by holding down the Aspect button on the remote.

Flexible audio creates a well-balanced no-fuss home entertainment system allowing you sit back and unwind. You don’t get the deep, chest thumping impact that you do from other soundbars, and the promise of room-filling sound is left unfulfilled. We should probably refresh on the manufacturer before we tackle the product as it’s been a long time since we’ve heard of the brand in a contemporary sense. We gave the Aspect every opportunity to shine by supplying it with the best sources possible but it never hit the mark. Taking a direct connection from our Blu-ray player and things perked up slightly but the Aspect still managed to introduce some unwanted fizz.
