About this deal

Product Improvement: If there are significant enhancements or innovations that Sennheiser has developed since the True Wireless 3’s release, a new model could provide an opportunity to introduce these features.

Market Competition: A new release could help Sennheiser stay competitive by offering an up-to-date product that can match or surpass rivals’ offerings in terms of features, quality, and performance. The music will pause when you take the headphones off while a single button activates your phone’s voice assistant or turns the headphones on and off. Press the button five times and you can turn off Bluetooth but still use the noise-cancelling, a mode designed for use on a plane without having to listen to music. SpecificationsImproved Connectivity Stability: Some users have reported occasional issues with connection stability. Enhanced Bluetooth connectivity that ensures a seamless and uninterrupted audio experience is high on the wish list for the next model. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity of M4. The Bluetooth pairing was very easy with my iPhone, LG V30 phone as well as my laptop. The M4 can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. I can play music on iPhone then switch over to the V30 without having to disconnect the iPhone. I do need to pause the music on iPhone before using the V30. The setup of the Sennheiser Smart Control App is very easy and smooth for the Android phone (V30). However, it took me several attempts to connect the Smart Control App to M4 on the iPhone. The Sony WF-1000XM4 delivered good ANC, but not best-in-class –look to the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2 for the top ANC around. And while Sony worked hard to improve this by adding a new, bigger driver unit to deliver richer audio, clearer vocals and better levels of immersion – as well as an integrated processor and three mics per earbud compared to the two mics in the WF-1000XM4s – we weren't blown away. Multipoint connects two devices at the same time, such as your phone for music and your laptop for video calls, and works extremely well. They come with a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm analogue headphones cable and can play audio over USB-C at the same time as charging, similar to the B&W PX7, giving you plenty of connectivity options.

Imaging is superb. I am able to pinpoint the instruments with ease. I can even distinguish if something is coming from closer or further away. Personalized sound via the Sennheiser Smart Control App: Adjust the sound to your individual listening preferences via the integrated equalizer, presets and sound modes - for a unique sound experience. MOMENTUM 4 Wireless offers multiple customisations to enable users to adapt the sound to their unique preferences. An all-new lightweight design is optimised for acoustic performance, with deep cushioned earpads to ensure exceptional and long-lasting wearing comfort. The synthetic leather ear pads offer both optimum comfort and high precision in reproducing sound and ANC performance.  Considering that most notes in music live in the bass and mids, a flat response here—all notes roughly the same volume—means that your music will reflect how the producer mixed the sound more than how your speakers affect the sound on their own. This is really great for those of you who don’t want their skulls rattled by bass, and those who want to hear more details in their music. The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless is one of the best true wireless earbuds in this regard, but not everyone likes this sound. If you like strong bass overemphasis, these in-ears aren’t for you. Mids, highsThe Momentum 3’s sub-bass rolls off a touch while the mid-bass feels like a hammer against your skull! The Momentum 4 Wireless’ bass while not hitting nearly as hard, is far more controlled and detailed than it’s predecessor.

With a simple zoom gesture, the user may adjust the intensity of noise cancellation at will without using the app. By the way, the ANC cannot be turned off completely when listening in active mode. However, that’s not a problem either, because you don’t hear any noisefloor or notice unnatural isolation sensation. Incidentally, the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 wear very comfortably and neither build up pressure on the ear cups nor give the user the feeling that it could get too hot. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless comes with a hard case in matching color. (Photo: Sennheiser) We call it continuity: Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 sound

B&O Beosound Explore review

We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.6 , which updates how we measure latency. We've updated and renamed the following test groups: Wired Connection, Bluetooth Connection, and Wireless Connection (Dongle). We've also added new codec latency measurements and provided an audio sample of recorded latency. We've added a comparison between these headphones and the Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 Wireless in Bluetooth. Enhanced EQ Settings: Users have expressed a desire for more comprehensive EQ settings. While the existing settings are fairly robust, a more expansive range could allow users to further customize their listening experience, tailoring the audio output to their specific preferences. The battery in the headphones is not replaceable but Sennheiser estimates it will maintain at least 80% of its original capacity after 30,000 hours of listening, which is 27 years of listening three hours a day, meaning it is never likely to need replacing.
