About this deal

This is a nifty device that is designed to specifically deal with static you may come across from your home listening set up. It “shoots” positive ions onto the surface of your records, to greatly reduce any static charge build-up. The bristles of this type of brush are made from carbon fiber, a material which is widely applied in many other products such as flooring, and which acts as an anti-static agent. The wide surface area coverage of the brush ensures the comprehensive cleaning of your vinyl records. The brush's gentle bristles harmlessly remove debris, maintaining the longevity and sound fidelity of your beloved records. A Must-Have, Durable Tool for Vinyl Lovers Storing your vinyl properly is another way to keep the grime at bay for longer. When I'm not playing a record I keep it in a dust cover inside its sleeve and store it in a built-for-purpose vinyl storage unit that's in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight. For all brushes, you should never touch the bristles, velvet or microfiber fabric of them, as this will contaminate the brush with oils and dirt that are on your fingers. This will then be transferred onto the record, and over time will cause the degradation of the record’s surface.

You can repeat this whole process as many times as you feel is necessary, depending on the cleanliness and condition of the record. I like to do it twice, unless the record is particularly dirty, in which case I will keep repeating until I’m satisfied. Notes:For heavier cleaning needs, choose the *Two-Step G3 Record Cleaning Fluid. It's the same formulation as GrooveWasher's One-Step G2 Fluid with one important difference: An increased surfactant concentration for greater power to get down and do the dirty work! A velvet brush can be used for a light wet clean too. All you need to do is spray a little bit of cleaning solution onto the record’s surface as part of the first step. Using a Brush To Clean Vinyl Records: A Final WordPlace the velvet brush on the record’s surface, and move it around the record, following the grooves and applying a little bit of light pressure, for a full revolution of the record. Step #3: Lift the Brush off the Record’s Surface

Enhance your vinyl listening experience with the Audioquest Anti-Static Record Brush. Crafted with excellence, this brush is designed to meticulously clean your records, reducing surface noise and enhancing sound quality. Efficiently Removes Dust and Dirt G3 Fluid requires a rinsing step. Either use GrooveWasher's GSR Super Rinse Fluid, or distilled water. Emulsifiers: Holds the oils, dirt, mildew and microdust particles in suspension. Then the microfiber fabric cleaning pad wipes and pulls the dirt-filled solution from the record surface.Once you’ve completed one full revolution of the record, carefully tilt the brush to a 45º degree angle and lift it off the record.
