Well the bag arrived today. Great bag. But super bummed I really need it to be at least three liters bigger. The 45 would be giant for my needs. I am one of those people that can fit 10 lb of stuff into a 5 lb bag, so I feel like if anybody could have made this work it was me. Plus, we’ve got a FUN FACT: this material is made from broken car windshields harvested from landfills, making it great for the environment! Who knew?! (We didn’t. The hip belts are a little too big, and aren’t removable, they’re great when you’re using them, but it would be great if there was a way to get these things out of the way Struggled with the sternum strap too. No matter how many different times I adjusted the bag sternum strap always came up into the throat area. Wondering if maybe despite being 5 foot 4 that a man’s bag might be a better fit. I do have a full chest I need to accommodate which is one thing that led me to the women’s fit other than being only 5 foot 4, so I guess the search for the perfect bag continues. Directly above the internal laptop compartment access sleeve, there is a Velcro strip that is barely noticeable. This Velcro strip when opened leads to the sturdy frame sheet. We’d suggest not messing around with this unless completely necessary—and we haven’t came across a reason to do so yet. Women’s Specific Version

Incredibly bummed because aside from this one not having a built-in rain cover lending three leaders to small it’s perfect for what I want, has all the right features and the design is spot on for general travel. At 5’10 and torso length of 17.7, the women’s fit is a little too small for me, and very snug in the shoulders. The distance between the hip belts and the shoulder straps is about 2” shorter. And the spacing between the shoulder straps is also about 2” shorter, to fit better on slimmer shoulders.
